It's amazing how Devin Vassell escapes any criticism whatsoever, whenever the Spurs play poorly (and he's been decent to start the year). The guy is paid 27 million dollars. Yet, all anyone wants to talk about are the Spurs rookie contract players not passing enough to Wemby. It's okay to have growing pains from your young players.

Did you miss the Spurs previous game against Miami or something?

He is making the same mistakes as the Miami game. The reason he could get traded is bc he is very talented (ive been a big fan).

But he is showing a selfish streak recently and has been out of control on tons of drives and hasn’t been running the offense well. If he keeps forcing so much, maybe you package Castle/Vassell/Sochan/Johnson/draft picks (take whatever out of that bunch is necessary - they can all go. Then try to grab a piece that scales with Wemby long term.

Think Castle has a ton of potential but his playmaking and decision making has been concerning this year.

My take last year was they needed to move off Vassel/Sochan/Johnson. They have a lot of pieces - but I don’t think this is the group.

Luke Kornet is sneakily one of the most important players in the NBA this season. He’s hurt so without him, the Spurs lose major optionality in the frontcourt and have to either play Biyombo or run super small ball.

He’s really important from what I saw, he was huge vs Dallas despite Wemby stealing the attention. The double big look allows Wemby to get some time as a roamer and shooting 4 next to him. His presence is massive as he also allows Wemby to rest and the team can tread water.

What exactly is the point of that heat team? why dont they just embrace actually tanking and getting some real talent? This is literally purgatory. You know you wont contend and you know you're not bad enough to get an actual good pick.

He doesn't it just somehow gets hidden now. He used to be the #2 option which is why we got Fox.

Dev is probably the most Jekyll/Hyde player we have. Consistently inconsistent. Shows up, disappears. Aggressive/passive.

p.s. Opposite of Dev is Keldon who is ALWAYS bringing it, finding ways to contribute.

And even though some people don't like him, Sochan being back will make a huge difference defensively (as will Kornet).

GOATs never have poor games. GOATs never even lose, in fact.
