Barnes, BI, RJ all averaging 20ppg, there's not enough shots in the SL for IQ, we really need to swap him for a POA defence that can space the floor. Shead/Ochai/Jakobe. Ochai and Jakobe off to bad start shooting 3pt so far tho.

It's much easier to tone down the aggression than it is to start with a conservative approach and ask for more aggression later. I don't know why people felt like Darko would never adapt when he's shown that he will.

Don't get me wrong, CMB coming out of the gate this great has me excited but come on guys...Yak is good and asking CMB to keep banging with true centers is going wear him down fast.

Yak in the starting lineup with 25 mins and give CMB backup 4/5 minutes.

Many here hated Yak from the start. His injury gives them excuse to be dismissive of him and to already replace him.
Saying that he is washed and so forth. Never ever has an NBA Player had such a drop off, unless they had a serious injury, like an Achilles for example.

He's a damn good center in all aspects besides spacing.

I'll take 3-4 with our 3 best players playing like our best players, and our rookie not looking out of place. Tons of stuff to improve on but things are not that bad.

At the end of the day he is averaging 21ppg, 7rpg and 5apg on 50%fg and 47%3fg...that's elite. Obviously he likely won't be able to keep up that efficiency but if he can stay around 46-48%fg and in the mid-30s from 3, that's all-star caliber.

3-4 with Jak essentially not playing and losses to MIL/DAL/SAS/HOU.

If you told us that 2 weeks ago we all would have been alright with it.

We're a .429 team, let's not oversell it here.

We should also be sitting Ingram out against weaker teams once we catch our stride. We need him to be healthy this season and occasional time off worked for us before.

CMB / Poeltl
Barnes / Poeltl
Ingram / Battle or Agbaji
RJ / Walter or Dick
IQ / Shead

This should be the line up most nights.

Swap Shead with IQ. Then the starting lineup is more balanced with better defence. Also, that way you let IQ play with Poeltl to destroy other team’s 2nd unit.

Holy our bench lineup would just be Poeltl and full of shooting:
IQ/Dick/Battle/Mamu/Poeltl

It would take 2 games for you guys to turn on Shead once you realize he does literally everything worse than IQ.

Just let IQ figure it out. The guy has been building mansion with his bricks but overall has played a solid game.

The thing with PG, it's the hardest position to learn. We need an NBA starter, we have guys who wouldn't make the league just based off their PG skills.

Like, IQ's a great SG. He's a college level PG.

Would've liked to see battle get some more run after last game. I think players should be rewarded with more playing time after playing well.

2. RJ
3. Ingram

CMB is easily #4

Yup that was pretty stupid of Darko.

Way to kill the guys morale.

3 of those 4 losses were on the road as well.

I'm content with where we're at right now.

I expect us to win at least 7 of the next 10 games. (Our toughest games are Cavs x 1, and 76ers x 2)

I think Battle will get Agbaji's minutes eventually if Agbaji doesn't pick up his play

As much as a I want to be positive about the way we have played lately, I have to see them do this against better teams. Against formidable teams with size we will continue to struggle esp with Yak out. That being said I think were in a good spot if we can figure out our defensive issues.

Eventually we will need to make a consolidation trade to maybe get a true PG and some more shooting. I have faith Quickley will turn things around with his shooting but his defensive is questionable and he will get attacked on that side of the ball a lot unfortunately.

Walter should be glued to the bench, both Battle and Ochai provide more.

Can Darko make a D plan that works tho.

CMB is looking like he's definitely starting material going forward and might be already.

Shead is looking real nice. Good bench PG is looking like his floor atm. Starting PG not out of question. The FVV path is right there for him.

In order to be a starting PG on this team I think Shead needs to shoot 38%+ from 3.

Baby steps. Usually the progression path to becoming a good team is first having an excellent record against teams you "should" beat, and not faring as well against the really good teams.

This is why I am happy so far. Our best players have been our best players and CMB looks solid. I would be way more concerned if BI was struggling and Barnes looked like he did last year.

I had high hopes for IQ coming into this season

A guy like Andrew Nembhard would fit in nicely with RJ-Ingram-Scottie
