Fun finish, Blazers defeat Nuggets in Rob Williams first game this year. Portland with Jrue, Deni, Camara, Rob, etc is a fun west coast League Pass team!

Ja Morant throwing another coach/es under the Bus. Yet another entitled Star player ruining a franchise. Taylor Jenkins is/was a great coach. Only so much you can do with mid-level talent and a Franchise killing "star".

What happens now? Fire yet another HC or trade Ja for far less than his talent should demand.

I expect Morant is on his way to somewhere on the West coast. This is not the first issue with him.

I haven’t watched all of the Mavs games, but every time I do watch it seems like flagg wants to be everything except for the star he is supposed to be. He’s not selfish enough.

It would have been considered basketball blasphemy to even suggest this question, but how many people would still definitely take Cooper Flagg over VJ edgecombe now??

Flagg's time will come.

The question is can he reach MVP level?

I'm not so sure Flagg is someone like Giannis or SGA on offense.
Flagg is more complete game than dominating player.

I know i shouldn't feel bad for Toronto sports fans (given our heated history between Boston and Candian sports teams) but man I cannot help but feel sorry for Blue Jays fans.

They blew an golden opportunity tonight to win the WS against a stacked Dodgers team and couldn't seal the deal

Would be agony for the players.

Was an all time great game and World Series though.

Yikes! If this is the competition, maybe Boston is the best sports city in the world!

I grew up a Dodger fan, so I'm pleased. Haven't really followed baseball for decades, but I'll offer this from franchise history: The praise for the traditions of Dodger player development is NOT exaggerated.

E.g., the Dodgers set a record by having the same infield play together for over 8 seasons straight. THEN they had 4 straight rookies of the year. One of those infielders, Davey Lopes, became the first Hispanic manager in the majors. The first two Black managers also played for the Dodgers (Frank Robinson, briefly, and Maury Wills for the heart of his career). And they were on track to have a Black manager themselves (instead of Tommy Lasorda) until Jim Gilliam died young of a heart attack.

Gotta give him time, I just thought he had more alpha in him than he’s shown.

Don't they have him playing PG, which is flat out stupid. Talk about setting a guy up to struggle. I think he'll be great sooner rather than later, but playing him at PG? Dumb.

For the record i'm not making any suggestions of who I would want based on early season's start. Even if Cooper Flagg is doing exactly what he is supposed to. This is more about the star or Super star potential of v j..
