Damn...such a Leafs like ending. I remember watching the Jays win their last World Series when I was 7 years old. Came so close to seeing it again, should of known Toronto wouldn't catch the breaks they needed in the end haha. That was as close to winning the championship without actually winning it as you can possibly get. That was a special team, such a shame!

Beating New York and LA in the same run would of been so sweet. The Dodgers are ridiculous but Toronto actually looked like the better team for most of the series. Yamamoto shutting them down for those 2 games though was too tough to overcome in the end.

So i said 2 weeks ago, how odd the timing was that the FBI announced the day after opening day of the NBA about Rozier and Chauncey involved in a gambling ring. I truly believe they held onto that information and waited for a moment big enough to try to hurt the league.

Now there is a report that the FBI has received flags from about 100 UFC fights linked with gambling/mafia. 100 is massive and would sink any sporting league. But no arrests made, no press conference by Kash. Nothing. Trump loves him some Dana White and Trump is responsible for the UFC’s 7.7 billion dollar deal with Paramount, no other media network offered more than 250 million per year and yet they got 7.7 billion cause of Trump.

Yeah.. i cant see how that is defensible at all. Very selective how this government works

Man I don’t even know anymore. I wish we could go back to the days when most Americans had faith in our government institutions.

Regarding the Paramount deal though, no company would make a $7.7 billion deal if there wasn’t a business plan to back it up. Trump’s FCC may have reviewed the deal, but I doubt it was done as a political favor. Paramount needs more content. Paramount Plus is terrible. The UFC deal makes sense from that perspective to broaden the potential market.
