But watching how the injury happened and then seeing him on the sidelines without a sling in Washington, shoving LaMelo with both arms in the interview hyped up after the W and then reading how it was a partial dislocation makes me feel like it won't be terrible.

Hopefully you are right

I'm sure it's because he doesn't want us to announce it because he's getting a second opinion.

Sure doesn't seem like he's hurt too bad. Would be nice to get an official update with a general ETA on when we might see him again. I know how much this franchise loves stringing us along with injuries though.

Just wait 2 more weeks I'm sure they will give us a more clear update on his potential return.

Maybe by Thanksgiving we will have our answer. :D

Re-evaluated means they still not sure on the injury. This means he could still be out after those 2 weeks.

It sucks I was really high on Miller, but I'm afraid he's just a glass body. We always get screwed. Just when you think we drafted another superstar he can't even stay healthy to see what we really have smh.

...or he'll be ready in 2 weeks. We don't know.

He played 74 games his rookie season, feels like the "he can't stay healthy" takes are premature.

It's year 3. You still talking about his rookie season.

If he can stay on the court I wouldn't be questioning his health.

Yes, since there's only been one season between? You're acting like that's a long time.

He's had 2 notable injuries since being drafted. His first year he had none. His second he had one significant injury. His most recent injury I don't think is a serious injury but we'll see when he comes back.

It's premature to say that long term he can't stay healthy.

“Shoulder subluxation, a subset of shoulder instability, occurs when the shoulder joint partially dislocates. In this condition the humeral head slips out of the glenoid cavity as a result of weakness of rotator cuff or looseness of the glenohumeral ligaments.

Causes can be classified as traumatic, non-traumatic or neuromuscular:

Traumatic cause: more frequent in active young individuals. Prevalent in for example: boxers,; non-contact sport with repetitive shoulder movements; a hand in the outstretched position.“

Must say, I was quite surprised when this was the result of Miller merely stretching out his hand while on defense. No impact, nobody grabbed his arm and pulled….just reaching out and POP…it was dislocated. Probably not a long term issue, unless his ligaments in those areas are naturally loose. Like Melo, ligaments and tendons can become stretched and weaker with repetitive injury over time.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
