Shamet makes sense he’s at least got size to play the 2 guard spot. He might even be a better defender than Deuce

Deuce is tiny and gets bullied easily. Shamet is much stronger and he’s bigger no question. Don’t know what’s so funny. Deuce is Brunsons size

I understand the concerns about the size of a Deuce/Brunson backcourt but you don't play defense with the top of your head. I believe Deuce weighs more than Shamet while having a 2 inch longer wingspan and a 1/2 inch shorter standing reach. I don't mind starting Shamet but he doesn't actually add size over Deuce.

I don’t hate Deuce but he’s overrated now. He’s been crappy on defense for a while now. Shamet has been solid. Your post is just case in point how overrated Deuce has gotten.

he is our best POA defender...every stat bares that out

and he is good in C&S
