RS 25/26 - Mavs @ Rockets (Tonight. 8PM EST)
Ughh, this could either be ugly or a big surprise. Either way... let's hope Cooper learns a trick or two.

Rockets with big athletic defenders. This game will tell a lot, 2bad AD and Lively are still out. No news on Exum either.

Powell cuts to the rim, Klay passes to him, Powell screws up the easy setup to score...Powell is the last man down the court to defend.
He needs to GO!

AD and Lively are not match for Houstons frontcourt anyways. Which is why we need to move on from AD.Archx wrote:Rockets with big athletic defenders. This game will tell a lot, 2bad AD and Lively are still out. No news on Exum either.

Klay is putrid. He is the biggest problem in the rotation, not to mention the starting lineup.
Nico definitely got rid of the dry powder.

Powell is completely blowing his bid for MVP.

It's a fact that Klay is a undercover for the warriors. He didn't do poo poo since he came here.

The sad thing is he's not doing it on purpose. GSW gave up on him 2 years ago. Horrible signing by the Mavs. Granted most shooters don't completely fall off the face of the Earth when they age, but Klay exhibited that he was done 2 years ago.

Gaff and PJ are playing great. PJ is now the OKC and HOU slayer. He's playing out of his mind.

It's so hard watching Dallas Nets.
Dlo is not a winner.

Not a bad game at all, with a PG on the court we played basketball. It's a start.

Pooper will not win rookie of the year. VJ is way better. And Kidd has destroyed Pooper's confidence.

That was the knock on him when he was putting up big numbers. Now that he's not... eek. He does get the ball moving better than anyone on the roster, but you pay for it in other ways.
Klay needs to sit. Martin should never be on the court. DP came back to Earth, but that's a tough assignment. I'd like to see Nemhard get some minutes. BWill must have misplaced his bong.

Cooper's role is so passive -- stand in the corner, pass the ball around the perimeter. Nor is he getting stuck in on the boards. He's just a spectator, mostly. If that's Kidd's plan, he should change it. If that's not Kidd's plan but Cooper just isn't yet able to figure out what he's supposed to do on the court, then Kidd should bench him. Either way, this can't go on. It's bad for the Mavs and it's bad for Flagg.

He should be coming off our bench. I mentioned on here last season that we need to trade him in the off-season. Happy he met Megan Thee Stallion...nice young lady...but it's time for Klay to go or come off our bench. If ee want to win.

Truly ridiculous management by Kidd.

Right now Cooper is learning how to not be the guy and play the game in a different way he's not use too. Hopefully he passes and Kidd allows Cooper to play the game his way. Cooper has one speed so watching Cooper right now lose Kidd's way hasn't been enjoyable.

Re: RS 25/26 - Mavs @ Rockets (Tonight. 8PM EST)
Our 3 point shooting must improve.
We scored 56 points in the paint and Houston scored 62. We can't expect to win if we score less in the paint and make our 3's at 25%.
