Dybantsa's first step and burst is truly insane

Woah. AJ Dybantsa is cooking! Those were two tough buckets, but he makes it look so easy.

He looks so lost on defense. Don’t think I can remember someone so constantly looking confused on that side of the ball

That with his ability to handle gives you shades of Melo and of course McGrady but his high end athleticism reminds you of McGrady

McGrady was like that early on.

Whatever defensive lapses he may have, it's clear he has an excellent motor. He looks to be a good defender.

I know he has work to do (especially playing in the nba) but I can’t imagine it being this bad.

He seems like he confused on every single defensive decision ok every play. Wonder if he’s slow processing the game bc it’s def not intuitive on that end.

I’m not sure he’ll be #1 pick. She be an interesting race

His PnR skills are way more advanced than any big wing I've seen since young Luka. It's not as good as Luka but it's pretty damn good. It's one of the things I've noticed watching him in the U20 games. He just has a really good feel for the game on the ball.

His reaction time is bad but he does use his length well on that end and he trying hard. That's half the battle for talented kids like him. He going to have to work on that end to catch up. You can tell, he previously didn't value defense outside of stocks.

AJ would have three steals if his reaction time was a tick faster with his tools

Yep, dude is a future superstar as well.

Watching Peterson and Dybantsa makes you realize how bad US Basketball has been for the last decade or so. It makes you realize how we haven't had true superstar prospects in a LONG TIME. Because I dont remember the last time I felt like this watching college freshman. Only Zion. Maybe Ant. Other than that, even the super hyped phenoms like Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Harrison Barnes, Flagg, Cade, RJ Barrett immediately showcased question marks about their superstar potential with their first game. Immediately showed that they might not be elite shot makers at the next level.

These two? You immediately see that they will be future superstars. They just have "it" that I haven't seen from anyone else besides Zion and maybe Ant in the last 15 years

I was really hoping to like Dybantsa’s game. Looks robotic and like he processes slowly and a bit uncoordinated. I did like that he was self aware in the interview and seems like a hard worker.

Only seen bits and pieces of Peterson but he looks like he should be #1.

I don't know what you are watching but he looks insanely good to me. I don't see any reason he's not a 30ppg scorer by year 3.

He plays a lot like early LeBron. He doesn't have the size. He has more quickness.

He doesn’t handle well. Doesn’t pass well. Doesn’t play defense well. Bad floor game. Footwork is messy (he’s young but it shows aptitude)

He works hard and plays hard. But athletically he isn’t an elite athlete that will dominate NBA athletes.

Not really sure where he’d get 30ppg in an NBA offense (is he a great shooter). I think he is talented and superstar doesn’t seem possible, although I hope I’m wrong.

We definitely not watching the same player.
Handles very well for his size
Doesn't pass well is asinine. Are you watching the same guy I am?
He doesn't play defense well. I agree with that.
His floor game might be what he's doing best today.
Footwork is messy but considering his size and age, it's still advanced. Unusual to see Freshman like this at this size.

I completely disagree with the athleticism take. 100% disagree.

I think you might be wrong my friend. Some of these takes just make no sense. This kid is special.
