Count me as impressed with the job that JJ Redick is doing - wasn't he considered for the Raptors job?

Ja is intentionally tanking his value imo

He's the type of player Raps front office needs to gamble on

lol I mean it's a 2 game sample size. He also has 5 steals too though.

It's also his 5 team in 5 years and the previous 4 didn't think he should play more than 2 NBA games for them.

I have no issue move off of higher pics for others showing more....like giving Battle more playtime than Dick or Battle, for example. I just don't think McClung is the best example...lol.

I get that, but he hasn't had much of an opportunity for extended minutes in the NBA and at the same time has been too good for the G League. Guys like this don't work out over 99% of the time, but there's been a lot more scrubs in the league that got more of a chance than he has in the league.

Indy only gave McClung 2:17 of playtime yesterday and was.-7.

But I am sure he gave effort.

REAALLY wanted to draft him but CMB is a dog too. The draft tape was nuts even if it was limited and he's 22. His story and drive also a big factor for me, guy likely to continue working hard in the league to reach new heights.

I keep seeing this and I disagree. Ja is a ball dominant guard who got his last coach fired because he wanted to play more PnR and be on the ball more. Our best players are not off ball players and he would make them worse just from the lineup construction.

Don't see how he makes us a real contending team and he individually isn't good enough to restructure our team around either. He needs to join another star somewhere else. The Suns or the Wolves are my favorite Ja trade destinations

Maxey has taken that All-NBA leap

Oubre and Grimes are elite role players

Embiid is back

VJ is ROTY

McCain is back

Paul George will be back

A healthy sixers team would be a top 3 team in the east. Only issue is that its hard to see them fully healthy. They lucked into VJ and Maxey is great but he wont win it alone without MVP level Embiid and a healthy PG. They'll likely run into the knicks or another contender and lose when the time comes.

That team doesn't deserve to win, its a shame Lowry is there but we know the reason why.

2021 re-draft:

1. Giddey
2. Scottie
3. Mobley
4. Franz
5. Cade

Scottie and Giddey is a toss-up at this point. Giving a slight edge to Giddey right now.

The Sixers are trash. Embiid will not be healthy for the postseason. And if by some miracle he is, he'll choke, as usual.

It's 8 games into the season and he'd be shooting 35% from 3 if it wasn't for one game he went 6 for 6 from 3. That one game is massively skewing the numbers right now, the sample size is extremely small. Keep in mind that no team prioritizes defending a rookie until they make a name for themselves and start showing up on the scouting report, that usually doesn't happen until at least a few months into the season unless it's a name rookie like Cooper Flagg.

Has he?

You think he's going to keep shooting over 48% on over 9 3PA/g? Or that he's going to last being the first person in about a decade and a half to average 40+ mpg while leading the league in FGA/g? With a draw rate like 50% higher than his best to date?

All of that is going to regress at some point not too far from now. My guy has been under 100 TS+ in both of the last two seasons (his 25+ ppg seasons), and you believe he's going to be anything like a 109 TS+ guy on this kind of volume?

C'mon, man. This is early-season stuff based on, like, 3 games.

He's averaged 26ppg the last two seasons. So yes I do think it's possible for him to average close to 30ppg this year. That's All-NBA stuff.
