As for CMB, I don't see him as PF, as he will lose his advantage in bullying. He will excel as a SF and guarding both SG or SF.

As for the options, I would draft a PF with good shooting and defense to compensate CMB, particularly on the rebounding and size factor. This also allows us more flexible in having a C.

Fair. I can see a championship team with starters being BI-CMB-Scottie. Need to make a trade to upgrade PG and C.

Jrue Holiday looks rejuvenated in Portland. Let's save him for another playoff run.

I know people hype up prospects every year and say the class will be great....But i been watching college players for a long time now and this class near the top of it with AJ/Peterson/Yessoufou you see 3 guys that can already play all 3 levels of the court and look comfortable doing so....Usually you see players near the top of the draft that look to have potential but do not always look comfortable.....These 3 look so in control of the game like a superstar would look.

Then you have a big like Boozer, Koa Peat who had a big game....Whoever gets high picks in this class will get some great talent and deff a few franchise players in this one. And not Barnes level Franchise players....Legit ones.

Koa doing that to UF is extremely impressive.

David Mirkovic of Illinois looks good, though he's strictly a PF at 6'9, 250lbs. Though maybe a SF/PF that can shoot 3's and pass.

Could he be lesser Luka or Julius Randle 2.0?

I feel that we're going to regret trading away that Pacers pick. I can see it being top 5.

If we want a C, maybe Patrick Ngongba II sophomore from Duke is a good option in the teens. I felt like he had a better feel for the game than Khaman Maluach. He'll probably be as effective as Mark Williams and Nik Richards at hanging with Wemby. Also he shoots over 70% FT's. He's got soft hands and a nice finger roll touch around the hoop.

Ngongba hitting a 3 in pre-season...

Sergio de Larrea shot 57% from 3 last year but wanted to stay another year in Europe and Valencia is now playing in the Euro League.

He's grown and is now 6'6-6'7.

Through 13 games, he's shooting 56.3% from 3.

I mean ofc looking back at it now you can say that, but at the time pacers were a top team and looked to be so again this year. No one could predict the Hali injury.

We clearly need a bigger PG...right now he's ranked 15th (personally doubtful that will last) but a 6'5 PG with long arms, plays at his own pace, that can shoot, handle & is also a damn good passer - Mikel Brown Jr would be my very early favorite IF he were to be anywhere near our pick.

After him I'll be keeping an eye on Meleek Thomas, Dame Sarr & Brayden Burries.

I think he did well in the summer to boost his stock and should be a top 10 pick.

Liked Condon last year and caught a bit of him last night as well.

I'd grab Condon with our second round pick. Would be a solid option for us at the Center position.

Yeah I don't doubt it...personally he's my current favorite player outside of the top 5 or so. It won't surprise me if he continues to climb as the season progresses. He has GREAT shooting touch and high bball IQ. Once he better fills out his frame, I actually think he has the talent level to be a top 5 player from the draft but obv it's super early and so much changes over the course of a college season. Selfishly I'd hope for a minor injury that has him slide to us lol but I'd just kill for a bigger guard like him. I know you mentioned Sergio (who I wanted to draft last year as well).

But right now Mikel is the dude I'm praying somehow falls to us, he looks to me like one of those taller guards who is gonna be a stud in the league.

I think Mikel Brown Jr. should be the 2nd guard after Peterson. Super quick release with NBA range. He moves around like Gary Payton but shoots like Ray Allen.

That pick was top 4 protected but yes we’ll probably regret trading it away when it lands in the top 10 and we could have had two lottery picks.

This draft class will be generational. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are allstars in the mid rounds.

Indiana will figure it out and be a .500 team when all is said and done. Nembhart and Mcconell have been out with injuries so they've pretty much played without a point-guard this year. But those guys are back soon.

This looks like such a deep class right now. One guy I'll be following closely if we pick outside the lottery is Tomislav Ivisic. He would fit so seamlessly into our team with his skillset.

At worst he looks like Mamu 2.0. Maybe a much taller, more nimble Vucevic? I wouldn't mind.
