"After he won them a playoffs series"

Such goes Westbrook. If he doesn't win you something, he likely has a game bad enough not even Michael Jordan could carry him to victory.
Nobody wants to deal with Westbrook's bipolar game.

I’m kind of annoyed at the damage Westbrook’s erratic play at and lack of dignity to just retire has done to his reputation.

Because at his peak, I truly believe he is better in a playoff series than current Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but even getting people to acknowledge how elite he was is an uphill battle.

What? Westbrook LEAD teams have won zero series in nba history. Im talking mvp, multiple years consecutively averaging a triple double russ. His true prime. And he played like the spaz his reputation has become in each one of those series. Better than SGA is laughable.

Look at the amount of passion you put into proving my exact point.

Prime Westbrook’s game is way more straightforward, has way more strengths in a team setting and is in general, more resilient due to freakish athleticism. But this is not worth arguing for me until he retires and people get a proper retrospective on his entire career. I refuse to explain to people that a legitimate MVP with multiple dominant playoff series, even before his peak was a force.

As far as Jokic, I can’t get used to this guy. I’m more blown away with him as a talent than Wemby. The awe people have of Wemby’s frame and abilities, I have of Jokic.

Unthinkably good player. And his shot selection and pacing is getting better every year. His playmaking is just ridiculous now. He’s finding the perfect balance of his scoring and passing with time.

This nuggets team on paper should be deeper than they’ve been in a long time. Even deeper than the championship season where in the playoffs they totally relied on 6 guys and only played 8 (with the 7th and 8th men being 90 year old Jeff Green and a rookie Christian Braun who only played 13 mpg in the playoffs). But even with the talent upgrades, the on/off issues with Jokic off persist. Not only do they persist, but it’s worse than ever. Granted it’s November 7th and on/off numbers can be noisy in small samples. This team is a total dumpster fire when he’s not on the floor

JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE FOR THE JOKER

Yep, B-R called it right.

https://www.nba.com/stats/players/defense-dash-lt10?CF=FGA_LT_10*GE*40&PerMode=Totals&PlayerPosition=C&dir=D&sort=LT_10_PCT

Of the 36 big men in the league to have faced 40+ FGAs on defense from <10' of the basket to date, Jokic is allowing the 2nd highest/worst opponent success rate at 64.2%.

Just another day of poor shot defense by the Joker, as always.

Award tracker currently got Jokic at 1.
Predictably with his statlines.

Is Jokic' passing actually getting better?
It almost looks like it.

It's getting comical the stuff that he's trying now. He's doing stuff in the game now that no one would even think to do.

I know right. That one pass to the corner no look was crazy.
