It's possible that was an offer based on who was available. For example if CMB and maybe someone else was off the board they didn't like anyone else so wanted the trade.

well the raps traded a potential top-5 pick in next years draft for Bandon Ingram.

Masai's biggest problem was always his lack of patience when it came to keeping first round picks.

I do believe they tried to trade the pick for White. Don’t let these 6 games fool you lol, White is an incredible player to have on a win now team, we’ve seen it for 3 years now.

He’s the ideal guard you want next to Scottie and BI.

I’m personally glad it didn’t go through though. I don’t think the Scottie and BI duo is good enough to part with a top 10 lottery pick to help them out.

We’re in no business of trading our own first round picks for this team at the moment. We already made that mistake with the Thad Young and Poeltl trade.

Are there no protections on that pick? If Pacers win lottery, NOP still get to keep it?

It was top-4 protected, and NOP no longer has it— Indiana got it back for the 23rd pick in the ‘25 draft.

Pels traded two lottery picks in 2026 for Queen

Right... I completely forgot about that. What a terribly short sighted move by the Pels.

He was ranked lower than 9th due to his lack of shooting and undersize at PF (unless he can shoot the 3s).
Our draft board (including me) already suggested him being the highest potential, but lack of fit with Barnes that turned many off.

Most people wanted Maluach, who is more raw but with very high potential. People keep thinking we need a better C, but I personally don't think the C is the issue.

lol, Indiana went to the finals last year. It wasn’t a valuable pick. It is now but if Haliburton doesn’t get hurt then you got no Ingram and the 25th pick in the draft.

And it could still easily be a pick in the range 10-15+. another Dick level pick.

... thanks, I'll take Ingram 10 out of 10 times ... The GM who totally blew it was Dumars, ... not Masai...

I wonder if there is any chance CMB can grown 1 more inch like Gradey? Put him on a stretcher or something?

Who gets the Giannis assignment tonight? Would love to see what CMB could do, as long as he manages to stay out of foul trouble.

He had a 9 foot standing reach. He doesn't need more height.

Pretty bad take.

You want Masai ti predict that both Halliburton would tear his Achilles and then the Pacers would reacquire the pick resulting in them not signing Turner.

Honestly, I don't think this is a huge issue. He's got the reach to get after it, like Thaddy was saying, and he's got a solid base and overall build regardless. He can hold his ground, he can take contact and he can contest shots. After that, it's just aesthetics. Is he going to do an amazing job against a healthy Embiid, if such a creature ever shows up? No, that's a bad matchup, but that is what it is, you know? Otherwise, he's going to generally be all right.

Hope ingram was worth it....We will be team mid for about 2-3 maybe 4 more seasons while the Finalists in the Pacers will add one of the stud rooks in this draft class to make sure they surpass us and alot of teams in the East once Hali comes back....Imagine Pacers add another Star next to Hali/Siakam and the depth they have....

But we will win the Play ins maybe so thats something to be excited about at least.
