She’s definitely making a name for herself

totally takes that quote out of context. he had no problem with the question. nor should he

She’s not been being the typical sideline reporter staying in a conservative lane fwiw. At least with the Bears, she’s being provocative. It’s not a bad question, just a little intentionally awkward in her choice of interview direction.

i'm not buying that after a quarter of a century in sports reporting she has suddenly chosen to arbitrarily start trolling the coaches, players and fans of an average team

some bears fans are now analyzing her every word with the energy of a hyper-woke college student because ben johnson got weird with her once

Kevin Fishbain tweet
Bears TE Colston Loveland was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his 118-yard, 2-TD performance in Cincinnati.

He’s the first Bears rookie to receive the honor since Jordan Howard in 2016. He’s the first rookie TE to win it since Jeremy Shockey in 2002.

I don't have a vid link but Darnell Wright did a cartwheel down the field when Loveland was scoring the go ahead TD.

Congrats to Loveland.

I also didn't realize that Monangai is now only the second Bears RB to rush for over 175 yards in a game. that's quite an achievement.

Yahoo Sports gives us a "B" for the first half. Winning 5 of 6 after starting 0-2 is a nice turnaround.

Chicago Bears (5-3)

There has been some angst about Caleb Williams’ inconsistency, but could Bears fans have expected much more? Chicago has won five of six and is in the NFC North race. There have been good moments for Williams in Ben Johnson’s offense. The Bears are on the right track.

Grade: B

Bears offense is now 6th in ppg, 4th in yards per game, 2nd in rushing yards per game, 10th in passing yards per game.

The rushing stat is really noteworthy, seeing as how at the start of the year it seemed like we couldn't run the ball well at all.

The weirdness around Monongai late in the game was not imagined. He’s got an ankle. Must be why the Bears had a RB tryout the other day

I like that response, very mature. I get his father frustrations about Rome lack of production. The thing is, Rome may not have been productive in terms of catches/yards, he was still very productive in other areas of the game. I know of at least two blocks that help spring the RB.
