Wednesday 11/5 NBA Game Thread

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Wed Nov 5, 2025 5:08 pm

You guys! It's Wednesday and these are the basketball games you can watch

- #2 vs #3 in West as Wemby and the 5-1 and the Spurs visit the 6-2 Lakers on ESPN- LAL going for 5th straight win - Luka expected to play, Harper out for Spurs
- Towns vs Randle as Knicks host Wolves on ESPN - both teams 4-3 on the season and have won 2 in a row (Edit: Anthony Edwards cleared to play)
- The 8-0 Thunder look to stay unbeaten as they visit Blazers - SGA has scored 20+ pts in 80 consecutive games, the 3rd longest streak of all time
- 2023 Finals rematch as Jokic and the Nuggets host Bam and the Heat
- Plus Rockets go for 5th straight win and other stuff hooray

No Fox, Harper, Kornet, Olynyk, or Sochan for the Spurs tonight. Which means we'll be getting lots of Biyombo, McLaughlin, and Champagnie minutes… :noway: . And Luka always seems to go off on us regardless. Gonna be a tough one for us in LA, me thinks. Would love for them to prove me wrong though.

EDIT*: No Reaves for the Lakers. That's big for us. Still fully expect Luka to go off though lol.

I voted for the Knicks to lose to the Wolves but defeat the Heat.

Bottom 2 in the east and bottom 2 in the west in 2 highly anticipated head to head matchups to determine the ultimate ass in each side of the map, don't know about the east, but out west AD and Zion will be very active cheering from the benches and showing us their exquisite fashion choices, my money on Zion outfit being the more impressive and business like, AD wouldn't last in the court of the judge from My Cousin Vinny from what I saw.

Time to seperate the men from the boys, Lakers/Spurs

Everyone better be playing.

over/under on Reaves going to the free throw line more then 10 times? he better not be scared because it's Wemby lol
Luka needs at least 40 and Reaves at least 20
- Ayton needs his average
And the rest just need to play :) Rui might also be the savior in this game, his been inconsistent imo, 15 or more from him please.

See you all about halftime when I'm home.

Side note: Prop B passed yesterday as San Antonians voted in favor of public funding for a new $1.3B downtown arena for the Spurs. There were rumblings that had it not passed, the Spurs may have been looking at a move to Austin for Las Vegas. Shout out to everyone who showed up and voted in SA yesterday. The new arena is expected to open sometime between 2030-2033.

Hey, where'd you hear Sochan and Olynyk are out? Last I'd heard they were GTD.

Really sucks Fox is still out. He said in the media session he felt good lol.

We really need Sochan on Luka tonight and someone besides Bis backing Wemby.

Luka v Wemby should be box office. The first meeting of two players from what feels like the leagues big 5.

Really sad to hear about Harper's injury, he's been my favorite rookie to watch this season so far. Hope he won't be out too long. Not really familiar with how long calf strains last.

OT, but I was looking forward to Football manager 26, came out yesterday - mostly negative on steam. Of well, I guess I am sticking with the old version.

I imagine 2 weeks max, not a big deal, but still a bummer, hes been great. I just randomly was skeptical of him, he seemed like Lonzo Ball 2.0, but I also questioned how his and Baileys team was bad in colelge.
