Lamar Jackson is the literal MVP, but no chance at winning the award due to injured time. After him? Have to think it will be handed to either Allen or Mahomes with eveyone else being on the outside looking in and needing them to fail. Both Allen and Mahomes have shown they are capable of failing too.

Whoever gets the first seed in AFC will win the MVP. Unless it is Colts, Taylor will cannibalize the great white hope. That leaves out Maye, Allen, maybe Herbert. Lamar has no shot.

Darnold deserves a shout but I dont think Seattle's record will be good enough for him.

He is not terrible but I dont think he is a starter in this league. After the Rams game teams figured him out except for the pitiful Giants secondary.

Stafford for MVP

he's doing some next level stat padding the last couple weeks

4 TDs today against San Fran. he's the most underrated QB in the league right now

They called him the MVP leader on the broadcast so I'm not sure how underrated he is.

I'd agree with the Stafford MVP pick right now. He's been awesome and Rams are great.

Stafford is having a good year but this means nothing. Even Jaxon Dart had 3 TDs against the remains of the Niners defense.

Stafford would probably win if it ended now but he probably slows down due to age and wear/tear, so I think it's setting up for them to go non QB for first time in a while in Taylor, I also think Baker is still in play if Tampa has good end to season.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Niners third stringers only slightly better than Cowboys defense.

I’ll take Drake Maye over Stafford comfortably. Maye has thrown a few more interceptions, but that’s largely because his average depth of throw is considerably higher.

He’s also done more with far less — not just in the receiver department, but overall. He’s the second-most sacked quarterback in the league.

Stafford is destined for the HOF and an MVP this late in his career would cement his HOF nod. My vote would be for Stafford.

with the Rams winning, Stafford throwing 4 TDs, and the Bills losing, I'd say Stafford took a huge step forward toward winning MVP. Allen taking a big step backward.

I do think Mahomes is still in the lead though

I am all for his HOF nod but that's a career award. For this year Maye has been more impressive.

Speaking of his career, there were people here who thought he didnt impact Rams super bowl run in 2022

the schedule sets up very favorably for Drake, play the Jets x2, Bengals, Giants, Bills, Ravens, Dolphins. Those are all bottom 10 defenses outside of the Bills

Write a letter to the NFL and tell them they don't count. See how that goes over.

Can't imagine Taylor winning it when they didn't give it to Saquon last year.

Maye is a good choice too.

Lots of QBs putting up numbers on good teams right now, second half of season will be interesting.
