I might be able to survive at home without internet for 30 days if you give me $360.
We had so many problems with spectrum as far as service. They could never fix it. Just got fiber optic from Frontier the other day.. Spectrum had no comp up here untl now. We had 300mb for $60. Now we have 2 gig for $70. Wow Fantastic for now.

The one thing I did do was call my town a year ago after I found out that they were denying TDS from from coming into the area. I complained about how bad spectrum was with service and price jacking. So they said theywould take a survey. So here we sit now with 3 choices. The towns controls who can come in is what i learned.

This is kind of interesting.

Fubo is launching a new Sports plan on September 2nd that costs $55.99 per month and comes with over 20 live sports and news-focused channels, including the ESPN and Fox Sports channels, as well as local stations owned by ABC, CBS, and Fox. Where available, this package includes coverage for network TV-broadcast pro and college football games that might slip through the cracks of other streaming options, while going light on channels that aren’t all about sports:

At launch, Fubo Sports will include local broadcast stations owned-and-operated by ABC, CBS and FOX plus additional affiliates in select markets as well as ACC Network, Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox News, FS1, FS2, Fubo Sports Network, ION, NFL Network, SEC Network and Tennis Channel with some network 4K content also available. Access to ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer Unlimited plan, which includes ESPN+, is bundled with a Fubo Sports subscription. Customers in select markets will also receive local broadcast sports channels. Additional networks may be launched.

To start, Fubo Sports is only launching in “select markets” where broadcasters own or partner with local affiliates, but the service plans to expand its availability in the future. The “skinny” bundle also comes with all of the content in ESPN’s “Unlimited” $29.99 package, like the network’s 12 channels, and ESPN+ streaming options.

I always like to see more options, competition is healthy.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not Bucks related, but thanks to the Peacock RSNs being available, this is the first year I'll be able to entirely cut out YTTV and other cable and cable look-alikes for the regular season. I only used YTTV for that one channel.

I got a year of Peacock with ads for $25 when it was offered, and it'll be $14.95 a month on top of that for the RSN add-on.

This really is healthy as the obsolete cable model makes less and less sense for everyone, including the basketball broadcasters.

It's only Golden State, Boston, Philly, and Sacramento with NBC RSNs through Peacock. The price for those vary, depending on how many pro teams of different sports are included.

I didn't notice your not Bucks related comment. Things change fast with streaming. I'd like to know the Bucks plan when their deal with FD expires, whenever that is.

I had been paying $45 a month for the Hulu/Disney/ESPN bundle. New TV from Best Buy came with 12 months of ESPN Ultimate free. Decided I didn’t need the Hulu and Disney part, so now I’m up to my eyeballs in NBA and college football, and I’m saving $45 a month.

I'm surprised that this has not been discussed here much. I am on Team Youtube but I think ESPN does have them by the balls and this is going to ride out for a while.

I'm a YoutubeTv guy, only issue being RSNs but I've kinda just found my way around it since I don't live in-market of WI teams anyways.

I don't know if I want to give in but I'm considering just going to the "6 different streaming services" solution to save like $500/year and have more content. The one thing that sucks is changing between a bunch of apps on a big sports night.

I brought this up in the TV thread but this is the more appropriate thread. Disney wants people to sign up for their app or Fubo or Hulu+ Live TV. I'm not doing that. I hate to take Google's side but I am in this case. YouTube TV is just behind Comcast, Spectrum and DirecTV and increasing subscribers. Comcast and Spectrum are losing them.

I'm not a McAfee fan but I loved that he ripped ESPN talent

What happens when you have disputes like this or interruptions in service is you very quickly have people realizing that they don't need the service in their life.

Yeah, Disney can go **** themselves. They'll come to an agreement with YTTV and then my bill will go up and then this will happen again with the next network in 6 months. Pretty sure the only thing I watch on any of those channels now is MNF and I'll only care about that when the Packers play. I'll grab that over the air since it's on ABC locally I think.

I've been looking for an excuse to finally dump my Disney stock and this was it. I know it won't matter to them but it's been a drag on my portfolio far too long.

It would help if ESPN wasn't burning a ton money on **** on air talent that has no business talking about sports or is too annoying to stomach listening to.

I got Disney+ free with DirecTV stream.

I tried YTTV but the app sucks and no RSNs is a killer.

I really like YTTV, I like the interface, unlimited DVR, it's been great. Very happy I dumped Spectrum for them. A friend of mine has the new ESPN app and hates it. I was over there earlier, it seemed clunky. I guess you can get used to it like any other app.

Have spectrum, were getting gigabit for 60/mo, promo expired and just asked for loyalty/tier 2 dept, asked them to give it to me again to avoid closing and opening in my wifes name to get it and they did.

I still have Spectrum internet and have to play the stupid game every year. Sometimes it's easy to keep the same rate sometimes it's like buying a car with the stupid negotiation and escalation you have to do.

Check your Amex offers, especially if you/P2 have different accounts. Only for 1 month but worth switching payments 2* for $40

One other thing, Spectrum is my only Internet choice so that makes it tougher to negotiate. ATT fiber is here but not yet available to me. The cell phone companies all offer 5G internet but I've heard nothing good about that.
