Pretty accurate description of 10 year NBA vet Seth Curry. Totally not an NBA player tho.

Statistically it can be argued that Seth Curry is the best three-point shooter of all time, but he's bounced around the league, never being more than an end-of-bench player except for a couple of years in Philly. He got roasted badly on defence in Philly, and should not have been on the court. He's surname is the reason he has lasted in the league.
So very best case, Jared McCain, becomes the best three-point shooter in the history of the game, but is almost unplayable and averages 10 points per game, while being a liability on the court. Yep - great comparison.
More likely, he got overhyped on here with a shooting streak that lasted a short time, and he will end up the player most people thought he would be - a big reach in the first round of a weak draft.

So we’ve already gone from not an NBA player to him averaging 10 ppg. You’ve gotta stop bargaining with yourself, man. By next week Jared McCain will be in the HOF at this rate.

You've made a goose of yourself here. Re-read what I wrote.
I said very best case he becomes statistically the best shooter in NBA history, which would still only make him a low level role player, but more likely he will be out of the league.

Oh I read it right - I’m just treating this convo with the trollishness it deserves. This exchange started by you quoting a post where I said “I’m excited to watch Jared McCain play” so you could find it in a couple of years to call me an idiot.

I want McCain to improve and I want him to be successful as a 76er, but it seems he has taken several steps backwards and has a long road ahead of him to get back to the player he was last season. But I want to be wrong on this.

Not that high on him but McCain is gonna bounce back. He’s better than this. We’re lucky to have him on our team, he just needs to get his rhythm. He can be an important piece to what we’re building here.
