Re: Wednesday 11/5 NBA Game Thread
That was a weird play, think the Pistons thought that they had called for a review but they burned it already.

Please don’t let us win
I mean, all three 2 way players are in the rotation. Plus 2 hardship contract guys. It may not be so much about "let"
Don’t let me to start acting cocky
If we win I’ve be like , NETS ARE FOR REAL , we just beat Eastern Conference Champions

Refs shamelessly put the wolves in the bonus. We’re at home lol. Only contending team that gets done like this at home.

Re: Wednesday 11/5 NBA Game Thread
Two observations:
!) Cade plays differently almost every fourth quarter. Just starts shooting. Still isn’t playing that well overall.
2) The Pistons as a team get away with a lot more than they did just two years ago. The refs are human, I get it, but it’s almost like “oh, they’re a good team, guess they know what they’re doing” vs before, “they suck, that must be illegal”. I don’t mind being on the good side of it now, but damn if it doesn’t make the league feel narrative-driven.

I'd add that ... maybe ... they need a different coach? At least, if that weird challenge early in the game is reflective of his general decision making.

Eh. JBB is like a better version of Dwane Casey. Leader of men, instills a culture, gets them to play hard. Defensive schemes are mostly good, offense can be a bit sketchy. Either the team and the coach grow into a better offense, or they lose in the first or second round of the playoffs a couple more years and a decision has to be made. I know Cade loves him, and that’s probably all that matters for the moment.

I think the last rookie that looked as young as Ace does is Giannis

Also, Duren gets to keep playing teams with subpar bigs and just decimates them. Need to see him play composed and solid against better bigs, though.

Cade was absolutely bonkers in that 4th quarter, and was fun as hell to watch. Made it look effortless.
Wow.

Re: Wednesday 11/5 NBA Game Thread
Seriously DLO might be mentally R-word as a basketball player.
I mean you watch this dude play and the question pops up every time. He plays like he's out the league. Has he been mavs best playmaker? Yes but only because the alternative is Hardy or rookie flagg or whoever.
He's beyond lucky he landed on a team devoid of a real PG.
DLO also has the worst shot selection in the history of mankind. Never seen a scrub shoot like he's a superstar as much as DLO.

“The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred per cent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible.”

We are petitioning to change the name from the Pacers to "The Mad Antz + Siakam and Nesmith" right now.

16 offensive rebounds for the Knicks. The Wolves haven't been able to keep them off the glass all game.
