The fourth quarter lasted a whole hour. NBA needs to do something about all these free throws, stoppages for reviews, and timeouts. This is not entertaining.

You can thank Adam Silver for this bullcrap. Dude likes to constantly over-inflate scoring numbers, nobody allowed to play defense and then play coward when it comes to punishing players/teams like the Clippers/Leonard.

Went to the Kings- Warriors game tonight, both teams decimated with injuries but boy oh boy is Westbrook fun to watch. Even through some of his mistakes, you can never ever question his effort like you easily can with more than half of this league at times. He didn't even have a training camp with our guys and I can already see him rubbing off on our young guys.

Nique Clifford has only played like 3 games this year due to a hamstring injury but good things tend to happen when he's out there. I like his game a LOT already. He does all of the little things and rarely ever forces it.

A combined 84 freethrows in that Lakers and Spurs game tonight and I thought the Kings game had too many whistles tonight. How was that even watchable? Holy hell. Luka is amazing though! I wouldn't wanna take him on in a best of 7 right now

JVG basically saying the same thing I said a few mins ago. Wemby's teammates have been way too slow making reads and passing the ball and basically forcing Wemby to create from the perimeter

Tre Jones was the only guy who could get him the ball and you had to trade him for Fox.

Dylan five games into his pro career is already best at it. Tre was ok but it was also a case of one eyed leading the blind. I think games like these separate wheat from chaff. All is info and we can't be wasting time pretending players in year 6 or great contract undrafted players are something they're not.

Champagnie cannot be starting on this team lol Spurs have too much talent. He should honestly be buried on their bench. Wonder how a 3 guard lineup would look alongside Wemby with Fox, Harper, and Castle.

33 MINUTES! He's out there for 3s shooting and so far is averaging a career low 30.4% from the arc. What happens is he shoots lights out when it doesn't matter - pre-season, when games are decided and there's no pressure, early in a game, etc.

But it's not like he's some defensive savant. So if he's not shooting well 1. Why is he taking as many shots as Wemby (14 lol) and 2. Why is he playing so many minutes oh and 3. Why is out there late in games?

But he doesn't play himself. I can only hope that he goes back to the bench where he belongs as soon as reinforcements return. Fox should be back for the next game which will push Champagnie down first.

But like Vassell, Champagnie, and Barnes are not starters on a top team. PATFO has some work to do to consolidate assets and shore up a two-way, starting level SF.

It's not just Vassell. It's everyone. Good teams are not going to give you all day to make a pass to Wemby. The reads needs to be faster otherwise the passing lanes and open shots will be closed down and the Wemby will have to come out to the perimeter to create on his own.


The early 2010 Spurs were great at making these quick passes.

Agree. Vassell just irks me more because he's been here long enough and it's like a nervous thing he does under pressure to slow the game down for himself and he still hasn't shed that habit in favour of what you explained.

At this point we have to accept he is what he is.

Agree about most other Spurs not named Harper having trouble getting Wemby the ball quickly. This should be a litmus test for who we keep or not lol

Jep, been watching the spurs live this year for the first time and I was shocked how there is no one on the roster who seems to be able to play an obvious and smart pass. Everyone uses the pnr only to look for their own shot. I know they won everything at the start but I still hated how they played.

Castle as well, but at least he is somewhat good enough to warrant being selfish. The others? No excuse, give Wemby the ball
