Would love if he could be cleared soon. Not holding my breath though with the recent Rozier/Billups saga. League will be acting very cautiously and there's a chance this could drag out for most or potentially all of this season.

It would be really fun to have him back! But I think he’s done for the season, maybe somebody clears him by March.

Is Beasley come back and plays well, it make Duncan very expendable. A trade would be loading of Robinson, Tobias and F them picks.

Ya, his contract is definitely appealing to another team. Much more so than Leverts. But it would be nice to have Duncan and Beasley as our elite 3pt elite shooters.
Once Iveys back, Levert just seems not needed. We also have our TPE. So either of those $14mil options would be nice to grab a guythat specifically just backs up Tobias at the least.

Right we need Beasley to add to Robinson. Now, I would trade Robinson in a package (Lauri) that brings back another shooter. But we need both, not either/or.

Why do you think it makes Duncan expendable?

Shooting isn't a "designated" job where teams have only one guy who can do it. Good teams have multiple knock down shooters.

They don't even play the same position really.

Beasley wasn't just a great shooter, he made clutch shots. I'd argue he was our most clutch player the first half of the season. He also brought a swagger that helped energize our fans at home and galvanized his teammates on the road.

I don't want to oversell it, but while Duncan is arguably a passable role player, Beasley felt integral to our success.

It wouldn't hurt to have multiple shooters, but without the other intangibles Duncan's defense leaves him feeling like net neutral at best. I'm really not impressed so far. I'm not even sure if he's better than THj.

Duncan is shooting 40% from deep so far so can't complain too much, but he generally needs more space & time to get a shot off cleanly. Beasley only needs an inch of space and seems so unbothered by contests compared to most shooters. We definitely miss him.

Yeah Duncan Robinson is too "Ilyasova-ish" for my taste. I be like pull the trigger ffs.

We'll see what Duncan can bring from the bench once Ivey is healthy. I think that's also what made Beasley feel more important - He provided a spark and some clutch shots on a bench unit with very little offense. Last year Ron was still raw as hell, Stew wasn't taking shots, Schroeder was only acquired the last fourth of the season, Font was atrocious.

As a shooter he’s been as advertised.

His limitations in other ways, ways that sometimes made his role in Miami sporadic, have also come as advertised. He’s fine as a 7th/8th man. Beasley was someone who could deliver in a starter-level role. Wish we could sign him..

Man, the Pistons are built like a 90's team, and are tripling down on it. Just killing teams with physicality, and paint points. If Beasley does come back, its going to be **** insane now that Duren is turning into a beast.

Cade+Duren are drawing so much attention, its gotten ridiculous. Beasley just gonna be standing there waiting for the open shot.

Cade
Beasley
Robinson
Ausar
Duren

I want to see that lineup just once. Insane blend of shooting, and dunk potential. Good grief.
