And that's just it: We DO need the help. And it's right there, available, and seemingly glued to the pine.

Until we get a coach who actually finds value in playing his full roster and interested in the development of the TEAM, we're going to be continually mired in mediocrity and giving away high draft picks to other teams because of it.

I know it's the Clippers they unlikely to trade with Lakers, but they do get a younger piece here.

No trade clause doesn't follow into new contracts, and of course Beal is not in any position to demand a NTC from any team, and even the Washington one was pretty stupid of them.

No way Clippers could have added his $50M contract via trade of course. As we know, he was waived, everything on that contract is gone, and any new contract has its own stipulations.

This is exactly why Ayton got frustrated in Phoenix. You have a center who's a threat to go off for 30+ if you get him the ball but the team doesn't have the PG play to find him a lot of the time. Still don't know why they drafted Malauch
