Embarrassingly bad card this weekend. Hardly sold any tickets. They’re fairly “cheap” now.

Agree! Fun night of bouts, Rio delivered for the most part. Happy to see Olives get his win at home.

I'll give that card a 7/10.

Also, newsworthy I guess. Merab Machine is. Booked vs Petr Yan 2 for the final PPV of the year. If we're counting that will be his 4th title defense this year and obviously is my Fighter of the Year win or loss. But my predicition this far out, he'll win another DEC lol

Oh yeah we have fights today! I'm literally just getting started from my halloween night out. It's bright and early at the crack of noon on the west coast.

It was totally a mid card. Way to many fights going to decision. Main event was ok.

Denise Gome vs Tecia Pennington went the distance but it was still a good fight.

The card was decent action for what it was worth. There were a lot of fighters that I really haven't paid any attention to.

I'm glad that the first Bonfim gave up and was KO'd by Emmers after missing weight. You're right, the Gomes/Pennington fight was pretty solid, but overall the stoppages occurred early on rather than from a really equal fight. I felt like matchmaking was more throw it against the wall and see if it sticks  What else can they do with all these jobbers anyways near the end of the year, looking to get a final paycheck ?

Former Women's BW title challenger Maria Bueno Silva has looked pretty awful in every fight since losing vs Raquel Pennington, and again got pieced up. One of the worst title challengers in modern UFC history, I think.

Arman Tsarukyan and Hooker this weekent in Qatar. I used to like Arman for a few of his fights but he's a rich brat and head butted Dan at the ceremonial weigh ins

would be hilarious if he withdrew due to head injury, Arman that is.

Anyway just want to see him smashed, though I picked Arman SUB2 because Hooker is a one trick pony at this stage. Should be a fun sat, but I'm only really interested in the main card. Mostly the co-and-main events. Garry v Belal is a good one for pecking order, I'm tired of both of their attitudes but I really don't like Belal, and I don't really like Machado-Garry, so maybe this ends in a draw lol. I picked Garry DEC which seems safe enough. Belal could wrestle him to DEC.

If I recall there's just a few more left in the year, including Merab's 4th (!) Title defense this YEAR vs Petr Yan. (Fighter of the year regardless of result for me, the Machine is.)

Thank goodness, I'll be entombed with F1 and college football....

... & NBA Cup (Joke).
