Tracking players on the back end of the bench, and those likely to see time on the Wiz feeder team.
Sharife Cooper.
Tiny jitterbug point guard, dynamic and flashy if not yet an NBA shooter from outside. 2-way contract.
;t=237s
Will Riley.
6'8" creative ballhandler with a good hesi game, able to get to spots in the midrange or to the paint with long strides if he catches players leaning the wrong way. Hidden playmaking ability? Has a good sense of timing and reads. Skinny, needs strength and defense. 2nd youngest player on the team. Like Tre Johnson he re-classified to play college ball early. Jumped out with 34 points in his freshman debut, spark plug off the bench, played well in the tournament at the end of the year before the Illini burned out.
Jamir Watkins.
Tough 6'7" two way player. Initiates contact on drives to the hoop. Guard skills, forward mentality. Hustle king. 2 way contract.
Dillon Jones
Truck body with high BBIQ. Unfortunately also plays at truck speed, and is underheight to take advantage of his strength. Smart though. Averaged 20/10r/5a in college before struggling to earn PT behind Lu Dort or Jaylen Williams.
Jonathan Pierre.
6'9.5+" playmaker/shooter on the wing. A Dawkins late bloomer special. Was a 6'2" guard as a senior before catching a 7 inch growth spurt from HS to his senior year in College. 7 foot wingspan. Exhibit 10.
Keshon Gilbert
Another full-contact guard. Playmaker who relishes driving through defenders to score inside. Exhibit 10.

The GoGo have Tyler Smith? He was cut by the Bucks?
If that's correct, I was interested in him in the '24 draft, has talent and is just turning 21.

No Will Riley on the roster? I'd rather he get some minutes there than ride the bench behind our 14 wings and guards ahead of him on the depth chart.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Yeah. Good get.
Go look at the Bucks drafts over the last decade since Giannis. Brutal.
Jabari Parker, Rashad Vaughn, Maker, DJ Wilson, Beauchamp, AJ Johnson.

I think I'd rather see Smith on the Wizards than some of the players they currently have. He's worth A look IMO.

I'm pretty excited about this roster!
Not only is there no Riley, there is also no AJ Johnson. Kinda strange tbh - they both need to play.
My man John Butler, another of these 7 ft beanpole unicorn types, is gone, sadly. We got Tyler Smith now though and they must see something in Akoldah Gak.
Games start Nov 7.
If Carrington shows no signs of improving, they may need to send him there.

Currently, the Go Go’s are probably a lot more fun to watch.

Tyler Smith has 17 and 6 part way through the 3rd. I say bring him up. Can give him the minutes currently being given to Mids and Whitmore. My guess is it won't have too much of an impact on our pristine won-loss record.

Akoldah Gak sounds like a Star Wars character.
From the planet Globgorb, Blorkbuster system - Commander Jedi Akoldah Gak.
Hope he's gotten something - we could use another big man, clearly.
Tyler Smith up over 20 now. Plus 6 boards and 3 assists.
Yes, I switched over to the Go-Go, on a Friday night. They're showing the games free on the Go-go website. Playing against basically a team of the Brooklyn Nets first round picks from last year.

Also was surprised to see they signed Alondes Williams, he was good at Wake Forest. They should be fun to watch this year.

I'm channel surfing, watching this and NFL games.SUPERBALLMAN wrote:

Saraf, Wolf, and Traore are all playing for the Long Island Nets. They have 15, 14, and 13 points. Right now, the Go Gos lead 92-76 to start the fourth.

I better change the channel. Nets scored 9 straight. It's 92-85 with Wolf starting to take over.
Tyler Smith is a nice passing big man.

Wolf is destroying Tyler Smith.
