Because they know his teammates can't shoot or get the ball to him in the paint.

Already saw a possession when Wemby had the mismatch with Amen and the pass went to Champanie for the 3

Amen is the last guy you'd want Wemby to attack, I wouldn't call that a mismatch. when both players are expecting an entry pass, a fair % of the time Amen will either deflect or steal such a pass or make it uncomfortable for Wemby on the catch or after it

Im on the Wemby goat train but my god he plays like an absolute pussy on offense.

All those **** days spent with the monks at that shaolin temple re-enacting Drunken master and that Jet Li shaolin temple movie only to watch this **** dude who's 10'5 shoot threes.

He's a fraud Shaolin guy. Jackie Chan in drunken master would never ever be this much of a pussy on offense.

This is a vulgar post. Warned for language. Take the tone down, please. Thank you!

He's a gifted passer, really sees the floor and helps his teammates. I think once his scoring gets a little sharper he has chops to play on a winning team. He isn't talked about much but he's doing a pretty solid job with his game in Utah. Orlando could use him 100%. Jazz have a player here also and if they improve their roster he will be a key part of the success.

Dallas looking like the worst team in the league. They're making this Grizz team look competent on offense.

rockmanslim wrote:Wemby wants to be a guard so bad, self-nerfing his height advantage

This has ALWAYS been the negative with Wemby as a prospect that no one wants to talk about. It's a pervasive issue with so many tall skilled players in history. They cannot want to be a guard, even if they are supremely skilled for their size. The best teams always always always have guys that understand their role and fully embrace it. When you have a big that thinks and wants to play like a guard everything gets thrown off because then you need another player to do actual big man things like set hard screens, occupy big man spaces on the court, physically tango with other bigs, etc. It somewhat negates the advantage of having a skilled bigger player because the lineups and roles end up wonky.

Wemby just isn't aggressive in putting pressure on the rim like someone with his size and coordination should be. Look at how aggressive Giannis is for example in pressuring the rim utilizing his handle. Someone like Wemby is tiers below that in the pressure he applies to defenses.

Minnesota desperately needed a game like this to get back on track.

It's definitely pizza, no pineapple (not that there's anything wrong with that :) )

I had pepperoni and mushroom, with fresh basil and oregano; it complemented my garlic parm wings with blue cheese nicely.

Not that any of y'all asked.

At some point, I hope Ace Bailey looks like an NBA player this season.
