With 2 days of rest coming into this one, it will be shocking if Maxey isn't playing 40+ mins this game. Probably will get a better Embiid as well.

This a game that Jakobe will likely be called upon to play a significant defensive role. Nice minutes limit matchup between Yak and Embiid. They really don’t have the players to matchup with Scottie, Ingram and RJ from a size and strength perspective.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

i wouldn't be surprised if they sit yak on a b2b to rest his back.

Wouldn't mind seeing Mamu get starter mins for this one, he's been really good for us. So far, he's been a surprisingly good defender. What he lacks in rim protection, he makes up for with his help D and mobility on the perimeter. He guards pretty well 1 on 1 too.

This is the big one. We most likely lose, but a win here would make a massive statement for us.

Key is to hold down Maxey and provide help at the right time. CMB and Poeltl can hold down Embiid.

We need to play Agbaji, Walter and Shead on Maxey. We badly need a starting line up change. They aren't winning their minutes as much as you would think.

There's no holding Maxey down he's a notorious Raptor killer. Just gotta hope we defend everyone else enough and the shooting comes back for our team

sixers will be rested and ready while we're on a b2bm so this may well be one of those scheduled losses but can never say never with this team and its talent. maxey will def get us as always and grimes usually kills us as well. maybe they'll even get good embiid but the raps should still hold an advantage at the other positions and think this will be a good opportunity for scottie in particular to go off as they're pretty weak at the 4.

I’m actually pretty confident we can win everywhere else overall other than PG. If we can contain Maxey going off, we should be able to win this.

I’m not taking the b2b into account as I don’t know how I should account for that

Sixers have lost 3 of their last 4, with that lone win being against the hapless, tanking Nets. After that hot start, Edgecombe's numbers keep dropping fast, with his stats coming down across the board the last 4 games.

We can take this one.

I think they will defend him better than ever today. Its hard to slow down Maxey when Embiid is playing, when he's not, not as much.

But they can't put Quickly on him.

This is most likely a scheduled loss. I would give Poeltl and BI the game off to rest.

Could go either way. Wonder how many minutes Embiid will play here.

Someone will need to contain Maxey.

Shame it’s a B2B. This is a very intriguing match up. Sixers have the backcourt edge while the Raps have the front court edge. Looking forward to it.

I don’t know if playing Embiid = edge for Toronto

We barely played several of our POA defenders. It shouldn't be a problem if Darko gets that. The easiest way to deal with him with to put Mogbo on him and have several help defenders like Barnes and CMB ready.

Poeltl - Embiid
CMB - Walker
Barnes - Oubre
Ingram - Edgecombe
Mogbo - Maxey

I'd heavily play Mogbo and Ochai/Walter while holding out Dick this game. We can't allow any defensive collapses on the perimeter. If Maxey gets going we won't be able to stop him.

I'd keep the minutes easy on Ingram and IQ unless there's insane offence coming from either or.
