Great game. Best this team has played this season. Looking tighter.

Good start in a tough first ten games.

Darko coached well again. Some nice interesting lineups. Good to see Yak sliwly coming back to form too, he had a good 4th q. But they need to save the challenges for the 3rd and 4th q.

Cut the turnovers down in 2nd half and they pulled ahead.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Our defense was up a notch too. We went after the defensive rebounds too. Atlanta peaked too early. We defended them when it counted.

Reffing was garbage again just like season opener here. Raps look good if they play their game. Good on them for fighting through it and lowsy play in first half. I like this group.

Walter needs to go to the G League for a few months or until there are some injuries. Still like the kid but Ochai/Battle are clearly ready to contribute more to the team right now.

Gradey has 2 assists and 1 turnover this season in 143 mins of play this season, he's definitely sticking to what he's good at.

Ochai being in the dog house is surprising.

Walter has just been bad this season, but not the easiest situation knowing your mins are limited.

Battle obviously deserves more mins, was nice to see Darko go to him in that 4th quarter. His gravity definitely looked like it helped open the offense up even without him scoring.

We have a surplus of wings as we already knew. Guys will have to wait their turn for mins to open up from things like injuries. There's really no opportunity for any of the bench guys to play through any struggles right now.

Good teams find a way to win when they are playing badly.

The thing that impressed me about Battle this game wasn't his shooting, it was his reputation.
When he came on Atlanta was careful to guard against his 3 pt shooting. This opened things up for the offense. The word has got out.

Shead had a really nice game for a guy who scored 0 and only had 2 assists. Felt his impact as a PG and energy guy.

I like Mamu's hustle and results so far, CMB needs some minutes, but I don't like them playing the 4-5 together. Better than Mogbu but wish we had a proper backup 5.

Maybe I'm wrong, is Mamu or rookie CMB a backup centre on a playoff team?

He helped us stay afloat in the first half, along with Mamu.

Then the starting rotation took care of business in the second half (+ Dick)

Scottie was 5/16 and the only guy on the team to have a negative +/-. He was also our best player tonight by a decent margin.

Great work by the guys to grind out a win in a tough game. That's the kind of game where in the past few seasons they would not have won, where they come out slow in the first half and you could tell they just didn't have it. But they kept fighting and keeping it close until some things started going their way.

The Hawks have a real conundrum. They have a hard time getting their offence going without Trae, but at the same time their defence is miles better. It's just really hard for them to construct a successful team that way.

Didn’t see that. He was a no show for 3 quarters, his plus/minus accurately shows that.

Thankfully the bench and Ingram kept us afloat until Scottie decided to show energy.

Not sure I understand the concern about Mamu as a backup C? He has the best DRTG on the team while also being really good offensively and spacing the floor for us.

He's undersized, sooner see him at the 4. Not undersized in hustle.

You want him at the 4 and CMB to not play at all?

The defense looked good this game. They could multiple stops at the right moment and put together a run. IQ is back and hitting his shots. I am sure him and Poeltl will continue to be solid.

In terms of consistency my worries are Barnes and Barrett. We need them to be consistent offensive threats around Ingram. The key point is hitting their open 3s and making space for Brandon to do what he does. If they could do that this game we would have been winning by a larger margin.

Some mediocre to bad teams at the top of the East. We know the Bulls are bad and will come back down to earth. Detroit is a solid team but they’ll slip too. It’s going to be competitive in the East. Team is well positioned.

Hawks are more enjoyable to watch without Trae imho. He needs to come to grips that he's limited and is not a superstar. Otherwise let him go. Jalen Johnson has nice stuff but I'm doubter. He looks soft. Nice win from the Raptors. Many of you were getting at JP too early. He turned it around.

edit: still hate these Cup courts.
