Pistons #1 in East with D-Rob playing half decent was not on my bingo card for this NBA season.

They showed improvement last year and peaking, how is the Magic though? Still feel like they’re going nowhere, even though they’ve got better players than us head to head.

Spo is showing that coaching matters more than the talent of the Magic. With that said, the Heat can only play at this intensity for so long before those nagging injuries take their toll. Hopefully Herro is able to come back by mid-December with fresh legs.

Remaining strength of schedule: As it stands now, the Heat have the 25th toughest schedule left in the NBA. After this stretch of 8 games or so, it will get even easier. Add to that only one more west coast road trip in late January and by the all-star break the team will be in good position to make a move in the standings, if they can keep the ship above water that long.

I expected the Pistons to be a top team.. their star leveled up.. they were robbed in Game 6 against the Knicks, Tim Jr shouldve had 3 free throws at the buzzer to seal the game and force G7.. but the refs swallowed the whistle..

What pisses me off is that the league did nothing to address that in the offseason. I feel that the last 2 minutes of every playoff game needs to have VAR. It would be insane to do it for all games but the playoffs needs it.
