Joseph Tugler is my early first round sleeper. May be a top five defender in college basketball, and if he can score enough to stay on the floor, he could be a good one.

Wilson looks like the future of the power forward position.

LaBaron Philon looked really good against St John’s today.

So, another name I think scouts are going to get a good look at this season is Dailyn Swain, 6'8 wing for Texas. He followed Sean Miller from Xavier but he looks like a prototype 3/D player. So far this season he's filling up the stat sheet with boards and assists.

Wouldn't shock me if Sam Presti was scouting him pretty heavily during the season. Guy looks like a future pro to me.

Wasn't sure if anyone mentioned his name yet.

This is the guy I was targeting for Denver's late first round pick, but he may be gone by then. He's a good player.

Unless you’re the Nugg’s GM, I don’t think it matters who you were personally targeting

Historically he hasn't been able to shoot at all. If it is real this is a huge improvement and that probably moves him from the conversation of being a mid/late 2nd to a late 1st/early 2nd prospect. He reminds me a bit of Kyle Anderson.

SEC regular season tape is going to be crucial. 20+ games against those athletes will tell his story. I was thinking he may be a second round pick, but he has some Camara/Finney-Smith in his future.

I don't know why Presti kept coming to mind here, but he just screams get him in our program and let Chip Engelland clean up his shot.

Pretty interesting video. The handles look legit from those highlights. Do any Greek posters know if this dude tried out for the national team? Or if he was invited and was cut?

Hell of a year to be watching college basketball, it looks like.

I am hyping this guy as a lottery pick since last year.

He got invited to the NT but didn't joine because he wanted to be prepared for the collage. He had a great summer with the youth NT check his stats there legit PG at 203cm. Before the start of the season his weakness was his weak body but he already filled out nicely and his inconsistent 3pt. Other than that his highlights from the last game are showing what he can do

I don't want to sound hyperbolic but he plays a lot like Luka. Just knows how to ball and never in a rush. Honestly see top 3-5 potential. Really the only thing I'm waiting to see is how he does against top competition. Assuming he balls out, what are his measurements and how does he test athletically. Skill and size wise he's got it.

Thanks for the insight. Him turning down a NT invite is interesting (and surprising). At least we know the Greek federation values him. He probably would have made the team as a teen.

He is a son of a former Greek player (his dad never made a career to the big clubs in Greece but played for lots of years) and his rights in Greece belongs to Panathinaikos since he was 15 16. The last 2 years played in the 1st division of the Greek league as a loan, so he is well known commodity, and certainly given how thin is the Greek NT in the guards would have got his spot.

Now as far as about measurements he got tested in the last draft combine before pulled out 6'7.50 barefoot 6'9 wingspan 8'8.5 standing reach 27 no step vertical 33.5 max. Given how underdeveloped is his body he has plenty potential to improve by a lot.

Still Avdalas is not the only good prospect from the country. Keep your eyes at Alexandros Samodurov, 6'11 smooth athletic PF who can pass and shoot the 3pt. He is just 20 and is already in the rotation of Panathinaikos. Given that all the 3 centers of the team are out he will get plenty meaningful playing time even at the eurolegue. For me is another 1st round material, he just needs to get stronger.

He has Luka like mannerisms for sure. What an all time class, if your GM secured 2+ 1st rounders you should be euphoric. Absolute worse case for him is prime Huerter and that's a lotto pick.

And if your GM traded away 2 lottery picks for Derrick Queen... then I dont even know. Probably time to look for a new team

He had a great spring/summer. I remember thinking he wasn't coming out but he could be one that becomes a top 15 pick with extra development

Watching the Duke game - Swain's shooting form is still terrible, he has just had some go in. He isn't going to be able to hit anything from outside of the paint in the NBA unless he completely rebuilds his jumper. So, as you say, somewhere like OKC, San Antonio, or Boston could be interesting if they have a second round pick.
