His 3pt percentage is dropping like we knew it would. Im fine with the spot ups but would like to see less settling into a 3pt shot and more agressive slashing. His first step is a weapon and should be used as though it is.

I think VJ´s mid range jumper has potential, since he jumps so high so he gets a good position. BUt his touch close to the rim is really bad, he rarely hits a layup.

He's been settling for 3s and when he does get to the midrange he doesn't have the same lift on the shot.

the 40 minutes are simply catching up to him which is par the course for rookies. If Podcast Boy ever comes back, his minutes should even out but this is also great learning experience as well. He still competes on defense and isn't scared to take big shots (and for this franchise just being willing to take shots is mindblowing lol).

As cool as it would have been for him to just be Michael Jordan all the time from day 1, these are the expected ups and down of being a rookie.

Questionable with back spasms on a 20 yo... Gotta cut down his minutes for sure.

There hasn't being a single game, fortunately, that I can say I haven't been happy with the way he played. The shots fall or don't fall, But he's taking good shots and early in that Celtics opener The Celtics went with their aggressive blitzing style on the stars and it led to wide open shots for him and Kelly..... One of the best things we can say about VJ and his rookie year is that he now is on the scouting report as someone that has to be guarded from three and that is a big deal for the team overall now and in the future
