JJJ: There's no sign that Mem want to trade him yet, it's Ja not JJJ and they not in rebuild mode yet - that said they haven't even said Ja is on the block yet, but probably will lol.

Lauri: will take at least 2 if not 3 picks and/or swaps etc plus salary matching etc

Siakam: no way Pacers trading him.

Claxton: will be your only real option and last time I checked, when Lakers asked about him, was that nets were asking at least 2 FRPs for him, now though who knows.

A guy like Lauri, we're offering expirings, Noa (worth a 1st), the Port 1st and our 2026 unprotected 1st-that's a nice package. I realize a 2028 1st might be necessary-but not giving more than that (with some protection on the 2028 pick, I'd think)

I love Lauri's fit with Giddey/Matas long term-that's a HUGE core

Yeah, it’s an easy no for Utah.

I don't get this from Utah fans. I like Lauri a lot, but I just don't see the end game for the Jazz with him. They will clearly be bad this year and next, AT LEAST-and probably longer. The package I offer gives savings now, TONS of future savings (Noa the only contract going to next year), plus 3 picks (Port pick, 2 Bulls' picks) and a good prospect in Noa. They move forwards with Kessler/Flip/Henricks/Noa as their young bigs, and hope 3 of them become solid/rotation types. They have George and Ace as good prospects plus lots of other young guys.

You keep Lauri and where does he lead you? Again, I just don't see the plan there-or do you think my offer is just too low?

They think they could get more for him in a league where Desmond Bane got 4 1st rounders and a pick swap. That trade may just foul up the entire trade market for a while as selling teams demand like 7 first round picks for players of any quality.
