So much enthusiasm for the first quarter of a regular season game, with 2 of your best pieces missing, during your 10th year as the broadcasting duo, during which time the team you work for has made the playoffs once and lost in first round.

All while not managing to not be annoying from the perspective of an opposing fan...

I liked how genuinely excited the one guy sounded announcing Luka's barrage in the 1st. Don't really hear that from opposing commentating crews. Dude just loves ball.

Yeh, and shooting poorly in the first half as usual, but…

Pistons are really short on options tonight. 6 normal rotation players out… the only guys left are Cade, JD, Holland and Robinson.

Not watching the game but the Lakers don't seem to be any better with Luka + Reaves than they do with just Luka or just Reaves. I doubt they do it but there is definitely an argument for selling high on Reaves especially since he is due for a massive extension this summer. It lowers their floor a little bit since they wont have a playmaker when Luka gets hurt but i think there is a capped ceiling on any team paying the majority of their salary cap to Luka + Reaves
