MONSTER FROM SPACE game.

38 on 11-19, 6-9 from 3, 10-10FTs, 12 boards (11 ON O!), 5 assists, 5 blocks, 1 steal in 36 minutes.

RAWR!

That's a sterling effort, but how did he only get 1 defensive rebound?

Needed 20 rebs instead of 12

The Clippers’ problem is the league’s figured out their style of offense which is slow, single-point attack. Today’s offenses are faster, multi-point attack system which is harder to defend.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

He didn't, it's my mistake. 11 D boards. Not sure what I saw there at the moment lol

If you are young man, like still in 20s or smth like that, Spo and Kerr are probably your first all time great coaches where you witnessed their entire careers so far. I thought about Lenny WIlkens news, I started following NBA pretty late in life, not being American and all, when I started Wilkens was coaching, but it was late in his career, and most of what Lenny WIlkens was, to me it is just historical facts and not something I have seen.

Ant Edwards .395 downtown 10.3 attempts per game

And so far today ANT's got 29 points, 10-18 field, 5-7 downtowners!

ANT finished with 35 points, 13-25 field, 5-9 downtowners, 6 rebounds, 6 assists

De’Andre Hunter didn’t fight hard enough over the screen, and Sam Merrill got lost as to what to do.

You're better off putting Jarrett Allen to play off the inbounder to protect the rim. Almost always shots with that little time is at the rim.

Agreed. Allen or Mobley should have been under the basket to contest the lob.

Bologna Smasher wrote:It's sad to see the Clippers struggling as much as they are. They should be a lot better than what they've shown this season. I suppose it's kind of difficult to do that when Kawhi is constantly missing and their other key pieces are in and out of the lineup. Their starting five tonight is really bad in terms of an offensive standpoint.

Give credit to the Hawks as well. They've looked a lot better without Trae and their defense has improved significantly without him.

The Clippers’ bench got worked in their limited minutes against the Hawks. All five starters for the Clippers either were positive plus minus or net neutral. Every bench player had a negative plus minus.

not a single draft "expert" or 95% of people that follow the draft on here considered the possibility that a 19 y/o could improve his shooting and therefore, combined with his insane athleticism, was an elite prospect. That draft class was considered weak by everyone as a result.

And i love the fact that ANT shoots 3s off-the-dribble usually, which is a lot more impressive than catch-and-shoot 3s. It makes him a lot harder to stop :P as he can create a 3 whenever he wants and without help from his teammates.

1. many poor shooters actually don't develop the shot. Guys like Edwards are the outliers
2. This was the Covid year, it's fair that the analysis for this draft was incomplete and more wonky than normal.
