Not just him. Stanley Johnson, Luke Kennard, Austin Daye, Killian Hayes, Saddiq Bey, Luke Kennard, Brandon Knight, Greg Monroe, Henry Ellenson....

That's NINE first rounders within the time frame I was able to name besides Sekou who I was able to mention without ANY fear of name dropping. And multiple years without a first. There is ONE Piston first rounder I think will likely be selected, and a second who has a chance to be picked. And a second rounder who barely played for us who will likely be picked. Only one (who may not be selected) would be in a Piston season.

I am reasonably happy with how things have gone so far. I was iffy on choosing AD over SGA and Curry, but I did it based on the assumption that a strong but not often used playmaker like Jalen Brunson would be available at a later point in the draft. I think Brunson with KCP covering him defensively and the elite front two-way court I built is ultimately better than anything I could have built with SGA/Curry at my draft position.

I also strongly considered Anthony Edwards over Siakam, and I could have gotten DB's backcourt of Jrue/Edwards, but I don't think that pairing would have fit as well with AD as Brunson/Siakam/KCP does.

No regrets.

Brunson was my second option to pick behind Edwards btw
