Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

It's smart. Best player out with a torn achilles. So they know they're not competing fort a title. Mine as well rest their guys and go for a high draft pick in one of the best drafts of all time.

The NBA has always supported tanking. Whatever our own ethics is, the NBA doesn't care

All the top teams in the east are beatable.

The east is wide open, so keep an open mind.

Yes. He's #3 All-Time in 3PT'ers. He broke Reggie Miller's record, while playing.
Ray Allen is also in the Top 10 on FT's by percentage, of All-Tiime.

Isn't Tanking usually done, when you don't have a bunch of experienced Players?
We've still got Guys who Won the Championship just 2 years ago. They are not built for Tanking.

Basketball Players don't have their whole lives to play in the NBA. It's a limited time. Players don't want to Tank.

I don't think the Pacers are tanking, so much as they've just been decimated by injuries. Sure, Siakam is getting a rest night, but he's also played every other game this season at 35+ minutes/game and this was the second night of a B2B in the middle of a west coast road trip for the pacers.

Pacers were just in the NBA finals. But their best player has a torn achilles. So they have no shot at a title..they're tanking.

Mavericks were in the 2024 nba finals..but then Kyrie tore ACL, so they tanked and got lottery luck..got 1st pick to draft Flagg.

Warriors won 3 titles. But then Steph and Klay got hurt, they tanked and won another title in 2022.

Spurs were a playoff team..but david robinson got hurt, they tanked, got lottery luck, drafted Duncan..who won them 5 titles.

And on and on and on.

Players might not want to tank but it's often in the best interest of the franchise in the long run.

Man, I just wish Brad could have gotten a trade with Nico in. Oh well, too late.

There goes any chance for a Brown for Cooper trade.

Can you imagine what his rookie max extension will be? I’m not sure if we have a shot.

But here’s to dreaming

Flagg is not a good shooter right now.

He's an underwhelming #1 pick so far.

Flagg was supposed to be a generational talent.

#1 picks like Zion and Banchero averaged 20 ppg during their rookie season.

Zion played 5 games his rookie season. 22 games in his second. I wouldn't be surprised if Flagg out scores his first two seasons by the all-star break. We'll see how it goes, but right now I doubt the Mavs would trade Flagg for Zion straight up.

All that aside, Flagg shouldn't be your main ball handler in the NBA. Tatum couldn't have done that as a rookie either.

Yeah, I agree.

Flagg playing PG is putting him under a lot of pressure.

He is just above his high floor currently. Though he is very very young . Even younger than Tatum.
