Re: Official NBA General Discussion 2025-26 V2.0
Pascal 44 FT misses in 9 games.
I'm mostly being silly, because small samples and all that.
But 44 misses in 9 games, equates to an avg of 4.9 FT misses per game, or 402 over an entire 82 game season.
Wilt Chamberlain holds the FT miss record over his career, at 5,805 total, in 1,045 games, which works out to 5.55 FT misses per game.
For reference:
Pascal this season: 4.9 FT misses per game
Shaq was: 4.4 FT misses per game
DHoward: 3.3 FT misses per game

Quit getting caught up in counting stats.
Someone has to get those when that many teammates are injured.
??
Who is this about
Siakam. He is putting up 24/8/6 on poor efficiency cause his team is **** lol
Case put up a whole bunch on poor efficiency last night but nobody’s complaining about that. :p
Flagg had a great game last night. Kidd is smart to make him the PG. It’ll help turn him into what he can become.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

He certainly isn't a tier-1 scorer. He is, however, one of the best playmakers in the league, playing on a pretty sparsely-talented offensive squad and trying to do everything for them.
That's a 2005 Kobe kind of game, you know? I mean, obviously Cade isn't Kobe as a scorer, but it's the type of game where you just have to go "eh, they won and who else was going to take the shots?"

They really could use Peterson, Dybansta or Boozer.

Nico fired less than 9 months after the worst trade in history. Absolutely embarassing management, Idk if I could be a Mavericks fan after trading Luka. The fact that them having Flagg was an accident (so unlikely players are openly saying it was rigged lmfao). Just man they dont even have picks for 2 years.

He's inefficient Harden.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

I can see why you'd say that, but that doesn't feel quite accurate. He isn't a foul-shamming douche like Harden, and he's got more post action in his game, so aesthetically, not that similar. He also isn't of the "pound the rock in an iso and then take a step-back 3 all game long" kind of guy.

I am not caught up in counting stats, but the NBA world will be, hence the reason he will undoubtedly be an All Star. But yes you're right, I should have said monster season, where traditional counting stats are concerned. I was not trying to paint Siakam in a positive, or negative, light. He is what he is.

And yes, I am well aware he missed last night's game and is undoubtedly going to be an All-Star this season. He's having a monster season, but like I said, we have seen firsthand how that goes when he's your best player.
They've been without Nembhard, Mathurin, McConnell, and most of their frontcourt rotation for most of the season. Their top five players in minutes played are Pascal Siakam, Jarace Walker, Aaron Nesmith, Ben Sheppard, and Isaiah Jackson. There's no PG, no C, and really no other scorer in that group.
The next five players are RayJ Dennis, Jay Huff, Tony Bradley, Quenton Jackson, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. Purely by that 10-man rotation, they're easily one of the worst teams in the league. I wouldn't read anything into Siakam as a player from this season.
I hope they trade him. Would suck to watch him waste his prime on that.
I wonder what could work with GS? Kerr and Draymond have always spoken highly of him, repeatedly too. They were rumored to be interested when we were looking to move him. He wasn't open to them before, but now that he got paid, maybe things have changed.

I feel awful for their fans, they deserve better. They have been trotting out a SL of Westbrook, Sabonis, LaVine, DeRozan and Schroder. Then they brought in Achiuwa, straight from the trash heap and into the starting lineup. How can any of their fans not want to rake their eyes out with a fork? Not only are they unwatchable, a lot of those guys are unlikeable.
