I like Lively but for the Lakers I think recourses need to be used elsewhere. They already have a serviceable center rotation with Ayton/Hayes. They need an athletic wing more than anything. A plug and play guy who can shoot and guard at a decent clip. Easier said than done, i know, but thats where the efforts need to be put as far as trades are concerned. Rui is probably gonna be a key trade piece. Gotta use him wisely
I'm not sure Rui is ever going to be traded just like that. He's exactly what Luka loves to play with. A reliable 3&D dude that can also get his own shot up. He is almost automatic from mid range and corner 3's. I'm not sure why would Lakers ever want to trade him. Lively has been good with Luka but he's becoming very injury prone like AD. It's hard to trust his health these days.
Rui is averaging 16ppg on 58/52/75 splits
