We can trade the vast majority of the franchise and its picks and not miss any of it.

Honestly, I'm not very interested in any of the Mavs players. I don't want to bench Kalk for one of their centers and Diabate is a good backup.

I don't see what Dallas could offer right now that would make me want to part with their 2027 pick. It's possible they could get another interesting pick/prospect for AD/Kyrie and use them to get the pick back but as of right now I'd rather hold than add PJ or Gafford. They won't be trading Flagg or Lively.

I would trade for PJ and Gafford but not give them their own pick back for them.

If they want their pick back Derek Lively is basically the only player they have that would get the convo started for me (Flagg is virtually untouchable).

Bridges/fillers/Dal pick for AD is the only offer I can come up with.

Even then it's a major gamble for us what good is adding AD if he going to be in street clothes with LaMelo/Miller on the bench

That team should be pretty good. It does kind of depend on if Sabonis (or Kalk) can make 3's at a decent rate for spacing though.

If we trade for Sabonis, I think he should be slotted in at PF, not C. Simply because he's a really bad rim defender, which is one of the reasons the Kings haven't managed to win with him.

Sabonis has had a slight falling off this year. He’s still solid but he’s not the 20/13 guy anymore. More like the 15/12 dude.
