Not sure who Grant Afseth is and how credible he is, but did anyone see this report?

"According to RG sources, there is a "growing disconnect" between franchise cornerstone Paolo Banchero and head coach Jamahl Mosley. The source described communication between the two as strained, adding that members of the organization have grown concerned about Banchero's level of engagement with his coach during games.
Sources familiar with the situation said communication between Banchero and Mosley has become almost nonexistent during timeouts, and the star forward often avoids eye contact when the coach addresses the team in huddles.

Feel like he saw the Magic struggling and then referred to the post game interview as his sources lol.

I think he asked someone a question to have the quotes at the end of the piece but yea the whole article was mostly this post game interview was weird wasn’t it lol. Zach Lowe flagged it on his podcast as well

But the rest of the uniforms are a bit too plain, could use something else to give them some more life. I'll have to dig them up but Paolo talks glowingly of Coach K for riding him among many things.

Doesn't mean some or all of the report isn't true, but I believe P has no problem being coached and pushed.

They want to be here because they either don't want to be cut or traded for a 2nd round pick. With Jett, may have to pay a 2nd round pick.

He might be right, regardless of his age. I don’t see a dopey clown like Dwight when I see how Paolo approaches the game. I haven’t seen any real indication of Paolo demanding countless isos against triple teams…he was the one ASKING for a floor general last season amidst the league-worst offense campaign. Mose is a great dude on an interpersonal level but he hasn’t shown any X and O strength on offense…it might be a whole roster of selfish AAU punks or it might be weak coaching. I’d love to see it all come together with Mose, but I’m betting against him at this point and I do think Paolo would be best served by a tough proven coach with a successful resume. If Paolo is frustrated by losing to less talented teams with a team flirting with the second apron- it doesn’t make him a coach killer.

Maybe Paolo can’t/won’t play a team game…but he might be. Coaches, especially unproven ones aren’t always right.

From a design standpoint, the Magic have been absolutely killing it.

Both Paolo and Mos have a ton of pressure on them and of course neither of them are comfortable with how the season started. But that article is click bait trash.
