"According to RG sources, there is a "growing disconnect" between franchise cornerstone Paolo Banchero and head coach Jamahl Mosley. The source described communication between the two as strained, adding that members of the organization have grown concerned about Banchero's level of engagement with his coach during games.
Sources familiar with the situation said communication between Banchero and Mosley has become almost nonexistent during timeouts, and the star forward often avoids eye contact when the coach addresses the team in huddles.

Feel like he saw the Magic struggling and then referred to the post game interview as his sources lol.

I think he asked someone a question to have the quotes at the end of the piece but yea the whole article was mostly this post game interview was weird wasn’t it lol. Zach Lowe flagged it on his podcast as well
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I dont know who this is reporting it but it would not surprise me if some of this is true. There is clear frustration coming from paolo this season. The vibe just has not been the same.

Once Paolo’s mom went public criticizing the system it was just a matter of time. Mos will take the fall because the 22-year-old knows best. Typical NBA. We’ll have a new coach soon and if it doesn’t improve then it might be — gasp — the player’s fault?!? We’ll see how he likes Mike Malone or Thibodeau riding his a** every night. Actually that is probably what he needs.

The stars in the stripe is a great touch, especially the shorts with the ball making the stripe a streak. But the rest of the uniforms are a bit too plain, could use something else to give them some more life. Not sure what - maybe the jersey side stripes should join into an arch banner on the jersey front behind the Orlando/Magic logo?

Not shocked random stuff is coming out, we didn’t need this report or rumor to know something’s up.

A Mike Malone, Thibs or SVG would be the best thing in paolos career. A successful NBA coach who has led superstar players in the playoffs to victory. Its that type of lighting a fire in his azz that would send Paolo to the next phase of his career. Im hoping for Malone.

I'll have to dig them up but Paolo talks glowingly of Coach K for riding him among many things.

Doesn't mean some or all of the report isn't true, but I believe P has no problem being coached and pushed.

Now we know why P2B missed 3x critical free throws in a row because he subconsciously wants Mosley to be fired.

Upper management should investigate and relegate Paulo Banchero to the 2nd unit so the real starters can get down to the business of winning games.

Im with you... we need to play the guys who want to be here like Jett and Tyus. We need to sit Paolo down for a few games to get his mind straight.

If Bane missed that 3 yesterday, Mosley wouldve been fired today.

We should still fire him.

They want to be here because they either don't want to be cut or traded for a 2nd round pick. With Jett, may have to pay a 2nd round pick.

He might be right, regardless of his age. I don’t see a dopey clown like Dwight when I see how Paolo approaches the game. I haven’t seen any real indication of Paolo demanding countless isos against triple teams…he was the one ASKING for a floor general last season amidst the league-worst offense campaign. Mose is a great dude on an interpersonal level but he hasn’t shown any X and O strength on offense…it might be a whole roster of selfish AAU punks or it might be weak coaching. I’d love to see it all come together with Mose, but I’m betting against him at this point and I do think Paolo would be best served by a tough proven coach with a successful resume. If Paolo is frustrated by losing to less talented teams with a team flirting with the second apron- it doesn’t make him a coach killer.

Maybe Paolo can’t/won’t play a team game…but he might be. Coaches, especially unproven ones aren’t always right.

From a design standpoint, the Magic have been absolutely killing it.

Theres been a big time improvement, our city edition jerseys when they were Orange and just a random logo were so bad, but now theres so much merch I want to buy, its ridiculous.

Small sample sizes are a bit silly.

For fun let’s look at the last four games to get rid of those two get right blowouts over the dregs Hornets and Wizards.

Last four games they’re 13th in offense and 22nd in defense with a negative net rating.

Complete click bait.

Both Paolo and Mos have a ton of pressure on them and of course neither of them are comfortable with how the season started. But that article is click bait trash.
