RJ can't create their own shot....similiar to Norm....can provide offense but not a bucket getter

He is a tier under BI, but his drives is always good. Still, in playoffs, we need two people that can someone break down the defence.

a really good glue guy player but nevertheless a glue guy
in baseball terminology, an excellent pitcher, but just a multi-inning reliefer or closer
So what is it exactly that you want to do with him. He's still one of our best players if not the best. We lack talent and are on a rebuild. The issue here is that we should have a few more losing seasons and rebuild through the draft. The management clearly wants this to be a mediocre team and mediocre we will remain for years. Watching guys like Ingram/RJ and having no real point guard and no real starting centre is not fun to watch. But it is good enough for ownership to put butts on seats. Remember we stuck it out with Derozan for years and were a mediocre team with some good seasons but could never get over the hump. The key to us winning and turning things around were drafting well late in the draft like what the spurs did. Getting Siakam and FVV. We have to continue to find gems in the draft. So far CMB looks like a great pick.

We need to trade Walter ASAP.
Try to extract a second round pick from him.
He's a terrible basketball player with no real upside.

Good game but I feel sorry for the Nets players. They busted their butts but still got the L.

Play of the game for me was that Shead pass to the corner the CMB three.

You make no sense when BI had 4 assist and RJ had 6. BI and RJ are all high picks. How many high picks you want to rebuilt? How would you built a team then?

Strange energy in here. Raptors won a game playing 3.5 quarters of it at half speed then turned it up in the end to win easily.
Poeltl played great. IQ was great. BI did his job by carrying the scoring. Shead and Gradey and Battle gave good minutes. Barnes gave the team momentum as he typically does, despite foul trouble and generally taking a backseat to other guys who had it going. RJ wasn’t engaged and Walter just can’t find his rhythm but otherwise we were fine. You can’t really glean anything from playing a team as bad as BKN.

uhhhh here’s what I said..PhilBlackson wrote: You can never admit when you're clearly wrong lol it's actually hilarious. You said every guard (we'll forget that you never specified PG) but nonetheless none of them are anymore "SGs" than IQ is, so there goes that excuse...and no one cares about the offence, the discussion was his defence (period), that's just a strawman.
I do see it. I see IQ do it on the other end multiple times as well. I see every single PG in the league get abused.
Like man, your entire post is so ironic consider how badly you blundered that one
But you’re right, IQ is no Caruso, White, or Nembhard defensively. But a ridiculous **** standard to hold him to. Sheesh.
While we’re at it, why not complain Barrett is no Dort, Ingram is no Kawhi, Barnes is no Draymond, and Poeltl is no Gobert?

He's like a Lowry....you still need better players in front of him if the goal is to be a contender.
The most important thing is that Barnes can be a key player on a contending team...he's not a net negative player, like Beal for example.

I get a Lowry vibe from him. Just a guy that wins.
How many Lowry's can a team have? We already had Barnes labeled at it earlier then Shead and now CMB loll
And none come close to doing what made Lowry, Lowry.

Not convinced you actually watched the game tho. If you did you know he just missed stuff he usually makes.

barnes still need to shoot the 3 consistently...that's his swing skill, 35% on 3-4 per game attempt will help a lot
