It would help them tremendously.
Wish he'd agree.
Not even a hot take 'cause I know won’t happen, but would be brilliant: LBJ as a sixth man.

If he is Ok playing only 15 minutes a game, i'm would be curious to see for how long he can play and be a positive player on the floor. Until 45 ?

I think it's an interesting idea. It would for sure work, LeBron is too good and too smart to not have this work.
That being said, I don't think it's in the best interest of the team. Despite how much I like Austin Reaves, Lebron is still a higher-impact player for this team: Lebron would make the starting 5 better in defense and provide the same (or better) value in offense. So while Luka can run the offense, Lebron is better in defending and setting up the defense.
The only way you'd think that this makes sense, is if the team decides to prepare for a time without LeBron and wants to run Luka-Austin as much as possible.

Why do people think lebron would be more effecive comming off the bench? Lebron plays very well with other stars. look at him in the olympics, he don't have to forces the issue or take 20 shots, he can be the goat utility man as well. some people just be hating for for the sake of hatin now.
Lakers are playing well atm, but watch them have a 3 game losing streak and all of you are crying for lebron's help again.

He already played this role all of last season
He started but his role was to keep the bench afloat like a 6th man would. That's why his plis-minus took a dive.
