Last season is probably going to be Jacobs best as a Packer. IF the Packer OLine were more consistently acceptable in run-blocking and the Offense less predictable, Jacobs would undoubtedly be doing better, but not in the company of Taylor, Cook, or Dowdie. However, he's not cooked yet.

I still think he is likely gone after this season, along with half the OLine and others in a general roster clean up.

All the fun creative stuff with the offense seems gone. Could be the green WR, could be the OL. Could be Love regressing as he has missed seeing wide open players frequently. Something needs to give but I don’t think it is firing MLF, would rather try featuring Golden or even Savion. Throwing to Bo Melton and a super inconsistent Wicks isn’t the answer and yes I know Golden was out.

Watching Egbuka get featured and I know he was a better prospect but let’s take the training wheels off. And for the love of God stop throwing the hail marys to Watson.

MLF’s just been killing me with his way too heavy run first approach. Love seems to be at his best when he gets a rhythm, but this game plan just doesn’t make sense for that when the run blocking is terrible. We went up tempo and he got a few completions then the drive stalled when he called back to back runs. Like why?

MLF’s dream is that Seattle game last year where we just ran it down their throat all game with a few nice passes from Love, but the blocking just isnt there for that this season and MLF doesnt want to admit it.

Love does need to audible out of some of this dumb s*** stuff he is calling when it is clear that its not going to work, like that 4th down call. I think that’s why Rodgers was so successful with him, using MLF’s creativity but also knowing to audible out of stuff that doesnt make sense.

In 3 starts against the Packers (2017 Tampa, 2021 & 2023 New Orleans) he's 45-68, 519 yards, 7 TD's, 0 picks, 123.3 passer rating.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Starting Winston is a smart move. Don't understand why he wasn't the guy to replace Dart against Chicago.

2017-GB won 26-20
2021-NO won 38-3
2023-GB won with Love 18-17. We trailed most of the game 17-0 and scored 18 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. This was Love's 4th regular season start if you include the KC debacle in 2021.

That 2021 opener remains one of the most bizarre games I can remember.

I remember the game last year when he threw for 497 yards and 4 TD's. Also 3 picks, including 2 pick 6's.

Jameis was the QB I least wanted us to see of the three in New York. He's got irrational confidence and isn't afraid to air things out.

Still, with no Skattebo or Nabors, I'm hopeful that our pass rushers will be able to tee off on Jameis.

Jameis will throw at least 2 interceptable balls. Secondary needs to be on the Jugs machine this week.

Jameis usually torched us in the past, but I have confidence in Hafley to neutralize him. We need the offensive line to get going, that's really all I care about. And for Matt to let Jordan throw more. Jordan is still top 10 in QBR and passing yards, but people are acting like he's the one missing kicks, whiffling blocks and dropping passes. He's not perfect by any stretch, but Matt needs to give him more leash and stop trying to run behind this bad O-line every 1st and 2nd down.

Adam Schefter thinks the Giants might be looking at Hafley as their future head coach. While I think they should hire an offensive mind, maybe Hafley shows out this week.

I wonder when we'll start to see the backlash to the hiring of the offensive genius quarterback whisperer? There seems to be a never ending amount of these guys in the college and pro ranks. Very, very few should actually be head coaches. Better plan is get your leader guy at HC, your tough hard-ass on defense, and the innovative guy on offense.

Many really good coordinators flame out as HC. Obviously not all of them, but many are better suited to remain coordinators. He does have college HC experience at BC.

In the 4 years he was coach they went 22-26. In the 4 years before he became coach they went 27-24.

It's too bad Saleh went back to the 49ers. He'd be the natural replacement for Hafley. They'll probably just promote from within like DeMarcus Covington.

Lafleur is doing some irrational things that his costing is team, with better decisions they would be undefeated right now, this team has no business being 5-3-1. He wants to run the ball but he had a C-RG-RT trio of Jenkins-Morgan-Tom which none of them are known to be run blockers. Banks comes from the zone blocking scheme of Shanahan and Walker is mediocre on that front. Their pass blocking rating was 7th before MNF so why are they running so much when they don't have the personnel? If he wants to run so much, they need to play guys like Rhyan, Kinnard or Belton.

When they shut down the run he's f*cked because he didn't design his offense to be throwing a lot. Everything is dependent on the run game. I don't see anything changing because he doesn't have a plan B. All we can hope is that we now run the ball better with Sean Rhyan at C who's a better run blocker than Jenks and maybe give Belton a try at RG and really try to be physical.
