Most incredible thing about SGA is that as a guard, and a guard who takes a lot of jumpers at that, he has shot ~50-54% from the field the last 4 years. Absolutely incredible.

He's on track for his 4th season in a row of 30+ PPG and 50FG%+ , Mj did it 5x in a row.

Shai is like prime Kawhi but a SG and more relentless. Dude is a machine. He just doesn't stop coming.

Another data point that Paolo really isn’t impacting winning for Orlando. They gotta figure out how to use that guy correctly, and he has to improve as well.

OKC showing how a real championship defense is played. Lakers are going to have to get to a similar level if they want to come out of the West. Lebron returning should help I guess but I'm not sure how I'd feel counting on a 41 year old to be a defensive anchor for an entire playoff run.

He's also been a bad/indifferent defender for years now. And unless he's lying, how the heck is he supposed to defend with sciatica? How would playing high intensity pro basketball make that go away?

OKC is rolling but let's remember it's 1 game in November and in the playoffs your best 5-7 players is far more important than your 10-13 man rotation. We'll see how things look in April and May.

Lakers dont have 1 great perimeter defender and lack rim protection. Scheming can only do so much. With Luka/Reaves, its gonna be very difficult to build a strong defensive team. Impossible with Lebron being the other big contract

To compete with the Thunder, you need elite perimeter defenders or a transcendent offensive player. The Lakers don’t have the perimeter defenders, and Luka Doncic isn’t as good as Nikola Jokic.
