This is a big loss for the Clips.

what the hell are you talking about

he hasn't played more than 53 games since 2021. He's been injured every single year since.

In 20 mpg he was averaging 8 points on 47.6% TS as a 10 year+ NBA vet

you could find a random 2nd rounder that could out produce that in 20 mpg.

For sure.
The Olympics took everything out of Bogi.

The Olympics in 2024?

Yea, he's still tired due to the 7 games he played 16 months ago. Understandable.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

No. A DPE, sure, or, the salary can be removed if it's a career ending injury, but otherwise, no.

I'll admit I didn't realize he had been hurt that much in recent years, but 160 minutes is a tiny sample size to extrapolate his stats going forward.

When he's been on the court, he's been an solid, efficient scorer for a decade. Including last season.

160 minutes is..stfu you just admitted to not even realizing what he's been for the last 4 years and you're out here pretending that the 160 minutes is some deep insight. when someone is THAT experienced and the #s are THAT bad there is no excuse.

no, you literally lost your credentials

So, as injuries go, that sucks and I hope his rehab goes well. Hip fractures aren't to be screwed around with.

For the team, though? Definitely a blessing.

I mentioned that 160 minutes is an extremely small sample size, not that it was some grandiose insight.

His stats so far this season were irrelevant, obviously he was ramping up coming back from the surgery and was on a minutes restriction.

These were Kawhi's stats in his ramp up games in 22-23:
10/4/3 on 42/13

Now, sometimes teams will send guys to the G-league to do some of the ramp up stuff, but Lue was trying to get reps with the team. Those stats are pretty meaningless lol

When building your roster, he should be viewed as 6th man moving forward. His injuries make him totally unreliable.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Like, every year.

This is the most predictable news in the history of predictable news.

Clippers realistically only had a shot in 2020 in the bubble, but eventually blew a 3-1 lead. It was all downhill from there.

Their best team was probably the year after, but Kawhi tore his ACL in the 2nd round which killed that season, and the next. They had a 3-year window, and that was the end of it,

Not sure about Washington's owners but Ishbia deserved it. We all knew what Beal was at the time of the trade. :banghead:

we knew in Washington...we had seen Gill, Dame and CJ and Wall and Beal at the height of their powers and only Steph and Klay were good enough to be a championship level team with your two best players being small guards...its Isiah and Steph as the only small guards that were best players on a championship team...couple that with having your best two players being small guards and the list is ultra small if you consider Klay or Dumars the second best players on those teams...wtf do you think Beal was going to be a super max level leader?

which is why Ja is fools gold...size matters and he not big enough.....pause
