Some of his TO's have been egregious, but I think he can reign in the accuracy. His passes have been next level, but just off

His passing is def worth some TOs bc of all the extra easy points, but we haven't seen the payoff yet. More worried about his shot rn. The shot selection hasn't been bad so I hope it can level out

P.S. at first, misread your post as Lonzo had the lowest TOV% and was like that is impossible lol

Yeah, I had to look it up too. I'm sure his TOV% will improve as he learns his teammates and they learn him.

Just watched all the TOs (p easy to find on nba.com) and I'd say 10 of them were genuinely bad passes and 7 were either not his fault or a team turnover.

Watching his assists, I'd say 10-13 of them were generated bc of his advanced passing (v subjective so I put a range). The other 19-22 assists weren't all gimmes, but a player could make these plays at a lower passing level.

What I appreciate are that some of his genuinely bad passes were attempts at making these more advanced reads. I'd like a better conversion rate and I believe he'll get there

Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland will make his season debut as soon as Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Garland, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a big toe, will be upgraded on Cavs' injury report as he is set to return.

Woooooo about time, our offensive rating is in the toilet to start this young season.

Nothing since him being listed out against Atlanta, but was upgraded to questionable for that game so may be back soon

Cavs are calling Garland's reinjured toe a contusion and his timeline to return will be updated as appropriate.

If it truly is just a bruise, the outlook may not be as bad as originally anticipated.

The Cavs have missed 38 games from their top 11 guys (including nominal rest/injury management days for Mitchell, Mobley, Ball, Garland). To my knowledge none of those were where a player was available but didn't play.

The only player to play in all 12 of our games is Craig Porter Jr, nominally our 12th or 13th man on the roster (depending on where you have him relative to Bryant).

Jaylon Tyson, not even in the rotation last year, is currently third on the team in minutes played.

Despite that...

The Cavs are 8-4, which is a 55-win pace. (Slightly under our preseason over-under of 56.5).

The Cavs have a top-10 offense (8th) and top-10 defense (10th), and are 8th in net rating.

The Cavs are 4th in SRS, which weighs our record against strength of schedule.

Its funny bc I was thinking about our 7-4 record prior to the victory yesterday and was thinking how negative we are on a team w as many setbacks as we've had and being (at the time) timed for second in the East (I think we were 7th/8th overall record wise)
