Best half of the Darko era? This is a damn good Cavs team.

Bench coming in and shooting 8-11 sure is nice

Pretty amazing honestly, I did not expect that he would have this kind of ceiling as a passer.
The team is steadier and better whenever he's on the court. Think we'll be seeing more two PG lineups if he keeps this up.
Being able to beat your man off the dribble & get paint touches matters if you are a playmaker
One of the biggest year 1 to year 2 jumps I can remember as a raptor in a long time.
His offense was a train wreck last year. Now he’s averaging 10 assists per 36 and 45% from 3
Shead with the surprising upgrade.
Mamu surprisingly being actually good.
CMB better than i wanted to hope.
And suddenly we have an actual legit bench.
Feels good.

We I said he would eventually be better than Fred but not as good as Kyle, I got a lot of push back.
I remember telling everyone at the start of last year when he was shooting bricks that I was extremely impressed with his skill level. A bunch thought he was a scrub. Its process over results with most young players and Shead is showing why.

Mobley is purely a complementary player.
Jarrett Allen is the real heart of their defense

He had a 50 TS% all 4 years in college, so it's a track record of being a brick layer at every level. There really wasn't much reason to be optimistic that he would make this drastic of an improvement in his offensive game.

We just need a serviceable backup big, who can we get? Can’t think of any backup big

You really have to watch games to appreciate what Scottie brings. He’s not a box score darling but you watch him play and notice how much impact he has everywhere. Does everything well and is elite at passing and close to elite at D.

He’s an opportunistic scorer. That’s the last thing you want him to do

Yeah he showed LOTS of signs last year, especially once the calendar turned over.

Weird how much Cleveland has fallen off. They don't look like a team that won 60+ games last year at all.

He's only 24 still. If he ever fills out with more man strength I think Mobley can take a step up.
