maybe we're making a concerted effort to have Jakobe first off the bench for trade reasons?
I hope that's not the reason.
I hope he gets the minutes and stays with us. There's more than meets the eyes. Just give it time.

I think he is, though. He's leading us (if ever so slightly) in FGA/g, and he's clearly the go-to guy when we need a bucket. He doesn't need to be a 30 ppg guy to be the #1. I think his status as a scorer on our roster is clear. He's also the guy who enables Scottie to do what he does more freely, and RJ as well.
Who creates the most advantages? That’s the number one guy.
I'd argue that's BI.

Offensively?
Teams are waaaaaay more worried about Ingram.
If Barnes had an Ingram level offensive package he’d be a year in year out all-nba player

No one trying to win tanks games trying to show people off man. I understand giving players some rope but how about rewarding players who deserve it more than others too?

You know what would help break the zone defense?
Playing the guy shooting 73% from 3 this year.

lmao you think it's helping?
not saying it's helping, I just can't think of anything that Jakobe is providing that would otherwise explain why he's first off the bench
lol playing him 5-10 mins a night isn't building any sort of trade value even if he was playing well

In the 2016 playoffs Kyrie led the Cavs in FGA, just ever so slightly. I don't think anyone is going to say he was the #1 over LeBron.

Yea I didn’t think I’d get any pushback for simply stating the (imo) obvious.
Unless he is arguing who our best overall player is
I think we just have different definitions of number one option.

Those guys know they have to cheat to keep Scottie off the glass.
