Harden a great player still, but he can't be your "system" because he's too ball dominant to choke the way he does.
The thing with aging superstars is they end up shaping your entire roster in their image. Look at the Clippers and it feels like the front office is still building for 2010. You can’t push the pace, you can’t run a modern multi-action offense, and everything defaults to isolations or PnR. In a way, it helps that Embiid stepped back a little this season because it let the team lean into Maxey and the current league trends, even if that style doesn’t naturally cater to Embiid’s strengths.
Ideally they can maybe this team resemble the showtime Lakers... Joel is the answer when the fast paced magic isn't happening, and can anchor the defense
