Don't think RJ and Gradey are enough to get them a PG but that would be my next move if I was Bobby.

There is enough creation with Scottie/IQ/Ingram. They just need to pair IQ with a 3+D guard. A Suggs/Holiday/Wallace/Daniels type.

Yeah if Orlando keeps struggling scoring are they willing to look at a Suggs RJ swap they can toss in Wendle Carter
with a name like that he jas to play for Toronto

Keon Clarke type of name.

The attention he gets is worth a lot.

I think our best line up is

Poeltl
Barnes
Ingram
IQ
Shead

I think so too. Makes everyone else in that lineup better.

Issue is, we don’t know if Shead is ready for that starting role nor do we have a back up PG to take his place.

Dare I say the best win of the season. Completely neutralized and dominated Mobley and Allen.

Darko keeps pushing the right buttons (although as has been mentioned, would love to see more battle).

With so many tanking teams, just take care of business and don't overlook anyone.

This is what separates Ingram from DeRozan.

DeMar was a selfish player.
Ingram isn't.

Gotta disagree there. I think those early WTN teams relied on DeMar very heavily to generate offense, but he's always been a willing passer. Kyle could score, but he could be streaky so you'd get stretches of games where he would carry the scoring load but then he'd have stretches where he would contribute but not necessarily carry scoring wise. Though I will say that I always felt like JV deserved more touches on offense, but didn't get them because of Casey's dumb ass and not because DeMar was selfish.

This team is a lot more dynamic offensively than probably anything DeMar ever played on. Still, kudos to BI for having that mindset and the ability to recognize where the defense can be exploited when they focus too much on him. My opinion is that this all starts with Scottie who is the highest paid guy and the (primary) leader of the team, he doesn't care who scores as long as the team is playing the right way.

Side note: Shead is awesome. I know someone said that he might be ready to start in a couple of years, but at the rate that he's been improving I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of this season or the beginning of next he was showing signs of being capable of being full time starter. I don't want to start a Calderon vs Ford debate because like another poster (I think it was YP) said "let's just enjoy having two quality point guards on the roster".

When Scotty plays like this, you can see how much more talented he is than everybody else on the team. Just needs to bring it more frequently.

Nobody else on the team is capable of doing what he did tonight on both sides of the floor. There are very few players in the entire league that are capable of it.

I wouldn't say DeMar was a selfish player. He just didn't have much playmaking chops while he was here, but he's improved a lot in that regard since leaving Toronto.

It unlocks the 2 way potential for the starting lineup and unlocks IQ to become a lethal shooter.

If they could somehow find a 2025 version of Derrick White just like Boston did, that would really take them to the next level.

Well, you probably don't want the actual 2025 version of Derrick White so far this season.

I would. He’d go back to his efficient self once he gets knocked down the totem pole in the scoring hierarchy.

Just like Rj and Scottie did this year with BI’s introduction.

Top 9 rotation players all have over a 58ts%, which is awesome and such a massive upgrade over what we've seen before.

Ochai and Walter struggling badly in the low 40s.

Battle, in #12 minutes, rocking a 97.6ts%.

I think he should be fine even in a larger role as the year goes on. He's just in a really bad shooting slump.

But yes, White would make us a lot better right now.

Put RJ in for IQ. IQ is the perfect 6th man. We need people who can drive to the net in the starting lineup. Having height at the 2 helps. That second unit would be killer from the line.

I haven't been this excited about Barnes since his rookie season. This is the version of Barnes I always envisioned and it's just so beautiful to watch. I think he just needed to mature a bit. You don't see the constant whining and crying after every miss and losing his cool.

Slowly falling in love with this squad. Just gotta figure out the dick/walter/ochai mess. I get darko is trying to get Walter in a rhythm, but his confidence is looking alittle shot out there. And you risk shaking dicks confidence limiting his minutes trying to get Walter going. Gotta send Walter to the G if he doesn't pick it up here in the next few games.

Feels good to enjoy watching raptors basketball again Boyz!! Can feel the board shifting into a bit more positive as well. Nice to see!!

We're rapidly approaching slander time for everyone freaking out about Barnes in the preseason, IQ/ his contact, and of course Yak doubters.
