Adidas, of course, has its headquarters in Germany.

I wondered if Adidas would capitalise on their success and maybe do a Wagner shoe that would sell well in Europe...

Maybe they don't get a shoe. We'll see.

I had a pair of T-Mac 2s back in the day that were actually real nice to play in (all blue, because I was a gaudy prick as a teenager ). Would definitely buy a Wagner signature shoe.

This is a big deal and makes a lot of sense.

At worse, maybe they do some special McGradys.
At best, could have their own line.

My fav shoes to play with is Anthony Edwards 1. Adidas has some really nice shoes. Can't be happier for Wagner brothers. I will definitely buy their signature shoes

I bought some re-issued T-Mac 1s a couple years ago.

Followed my Fila Grant Hill 1s.

Never had either of shoes growing up so it was a big deal to play in these in some rec leagues.

And yes, a no-brainer for Adidas to work with these guys. Really happy for them.

What was the actual announcement?

There isn’t one yet. Franz and Moritz are closing to signing a major endorsement deal with Adidas, but nothing official yet.

Always wondered why Adidas even allowed Franz to go with Nike to begin with. Guess his Nike deal will end soon and Adidas will jump the opportunity.

I know it's matter of personal taste & feeling, but adidas shoes for basketball are so much better to me than nike (especially Jordan's), at least new ones.
Dame 8 is apsolute gem of a shoe. Bit lower, but so damn comfortable & safe for sport(s).
