AD Used to be a great player, and he's on the edge of being allstar almost every year... Most years he makes it so... The mavericks are not gonna sell cheap.

Damn you guys are down bad on Baby Niko. I think he'll bounce back. YOU GUYS FORGET how much better he looks as the 4th best player on the court. The Bam Niko Ware three man lineup is legit a terror. 34/m 97.4 OFF 87.8 DEF. Back to 95 we go.
Anything that happens right now doesn't matter were all victim to Spo's early season IDGAF chaos. Once everyone is healthy (thots and prayers) and playing their roles I'll take my 17/5/5 from young sir. It's all mental, the boys are gonna get him there with vibes and feels. Consistency is next.

Jovic is a LONG way from averaging 17/5/5 lmao. We should tamper our expectations. If he can average 12ppg on close to 40% from three, we'll be good.

How do some fans criticize AD for being injury prone, yet think Herro isn't also injury prone?
Even at 60 games per year, AD is twice the player Herro is.
If AD comes for cheap? (Salary + limited future assets?) Sure. But no reason to empty the cupboards for him.

Not that I want AD, but any trade scenarios involving Rozier can't be made. The NBA froze his contract apparently.

If we can get that pick back from the Terry trade and his salary accessible that’s basically just adding AD to what we’ve already had going to start the year. Would be interesting for sure, idc about DLo either way although he’s better than his current rep

DLo is so bad. Ugh.
AD is nice, on the occasion he's healthy. If Edrice can space the floor now, that duo could do some damage, but losing Herro would be a blow to the spacing that lineup needs. AD/Bam would also clean up Tyler's defensive miscues too.
I'm not fully opposed to acquiring AD, but I'm not sure he's the guy you want to blow your capspace on. Does acquiring him really move us to the top of the East? If your biggest opposition is the Pistons, then maybe.

Im just curious because I've been reading this alot.
AD is injury prone and it's used against him. He averages 62 gp/year.
Tyler is more injury prone yet it isn't used against him. He averages 59 gp/year.

Honestly, all this trade talk doesn’t mean anything. The Heat need a top five team player to build around. The only top five player in the realm of possibility would be Giannis and he’s not going anywhere for now.
Proud embarrassment

Saw this in the trade thread, but..
When tyler returns, a fontecchio for Looney swap seems like a win win.
He's a champion and professional rebounder who knows got to defend. He's be a great mentor to ware in practice while playing 10-20 minutes if needed.
Another kerr/spo guy who is a great lockerroom leader.

Jovic's per36 is 15.3/7.5/4.9 right now, not that anyone on our team plays 36 mins, but he is essentially not far off that guy if committed to as a starter now.

In the load management era, 62 games is a full season.Crazy-Canuck wrote:AD is injury prone and it's used against him. He averages 62 gp/year.

If the price is right, I'll advocate for an AD trade
Just think its interesting that the two of the main arguments by many posters on this board and presumably the FO for trading Jimmy was his unavailability and his contract and now I'm hearing rationalizations to excuse those reasons in this instance.

Just depends, the thought of getting to play with a Bam/AD frontcourt with one of Powell/Wiggins might really appeal to some stars, espeically elite guards. You get the right mix and you can absolutely win it all.

Maybe I’m wrong in not wanting to free Lauri from Utah. He is still assisted on 85% of his baskets which is insanely high and we’re not exactly loaded with playmaking. 28 year old 7 footer who’s an elite shooter/scorer. In the 1st year of a 4/$196M contract
